“Hi guys, I am having issues with rentcafe and flex. Essentially, a month ago I paid my rent using the Flex app for $3700 as a one time thing due to emergencies piling up. First attempt didn’t go through. I tried a second time a couple days later using the banking info Flex…”
“Tenant-US-PA I live in an apartment building managed by a property company, but owned by a private landlord in a different state. I pay my rent, in full, on the 1st of every month. And this month was no different. I paid in full 10/01/2026. I got my confirmation email. I woke up…”
“Is anyone having issues with their flex rent app not working? Mine keeps saying they are waiting for the complex to post rent, but I can confirm that the rent is posted on the complex’s portal. At first it was giving me the error below. Getting nervous because this is what I use…”

First attempt didn’t go through. I tried a second time a couple days later using the banking info Flex provided. It was successful and payment was taken from me. I received confirmation of Flex successfully submitting rent this time as well. Issue is, my property manager is claiming the payment dated for the second attempt was”
“I’m the solo property manager for about 70 luxury college rentals. I previously worked for larger corporate multifamily and single-family companies, so I’m used to having clear policies, procedures, and some level of decision-making authority. In this role, I have one full-time maintenance tech and one shared tech, but nearly every decision still has to go through the owner. They openly dislike industry-standard policies, even when those policies seem practical. Their exact words were, “We don’t”
“Hi MSP community, just wanted to see what you use to manage all your tenants ? I am looking one pan of glass for M365 and Azure. Would you suggest lighthouse or something else? submitted by /u/joe210565 [link] [comments]”
Very true. How many hours does your PM get? Do they live on site?
“Anybody have recommendations for a platform to do scheduling with tenants to "reserve" an elevator for move ins/outs? We only have one elevator, and we want to make sure multiple tenants do not try to move in at the same time on the same day. We will of course still have access to everyone needing the elevator, but we want to make it less off a bottleneck during the heavy move in season coming up. Microsoft Bookings was recommended, but I'm not too familiar with it. Any wisdom is w”
“A lot of my tenants pay cash and I want to try out a rent manager software with integration with networks like PayNearMe or similar to let tenants pay at Walmart or Family Dollar. Im curious what others experiences are with some of these. Are they solid, anything I should avoid? Key contenders would be Appfolio, Buildium, Yardi, Rentec Direct or Rent Manager. We are running around 45 doors. Thank you! submitted by /u/XipeToltec [link] [comments]”
“I bought GE Machines. They only use the GE app for payments. I don't have experience with any other system but the GE app is absolute garbage.”
“Crazy idea, and stay with me: Ask innago instead of randoms on Reddit. I know, I know, crazy out of left field idea, but hey, it might work!”
“I’ve worked at a large Class A mid-rise community for a few years, and I’m at the point where I’m not sure if what I’m experiencing is common. I’ve been in this industry for seven years now and have worked at a few other property management companies that are a bit larger than this one, so I am used to following policy, having upper management guidance beyond just my PM, and having a sense of team building… but not here. Our Property Manager came into the role with very little property managemen”
“i’m Handyman. I do lots of work with property management companies and it’s a nightmare that I have to manage the the tenant, the landlords needs and expectations, and the property managers? It’s really complex and it puts me off doing work on that side. I can’t see. Have to send lots of quotes and they still will give me give the work to other people. They’re all good companies and they’re all very nice to me and I know it’s just nature of it, but maybe I’m just having a bit of a rant. su”
“yap! noticing that early was a key part of my business success. got a guy to AI this sh*t and now we advertise ourself as a fully 24/7 concierge, its rather than just another ordinary pm company.”
“What does your lease say about this? Did you sign anything for this bulk wifi? How are they billing this to you? Is it an amenity? being added to rent? service fee? Have you spoken to other tenants about it? Have you spoken to property manager about slow wifi? Have you looked up your state law regarding this? At the end of the day, it will depend on what your lease says. Yo”
“I'm doing some research and haven't found many firsthand reviews online. I'd love to hear from anyone who has dealt with them, whether your experience was positive, negative, or somewhere in between. How responsive are they? How do they handle maintenance requests, lease renewals, security deposits, and general tenant concerns? Any insights would be appreciated. submitted by”
“I've been with Doorloop for 2 months and the Quickbooks integration is still not working. The sales team promises the world, but the onboarding team was not trained on Quickbooks integration, so the chart of accounts was not setup right. By the time we realized, the onboarding team had rolled off. We have issues with Revenue not carrying over to QBO and Doorloop creating duplicate accounts, Doorloop not being able to recognize parent / child chart of accounts st”
“Are there any rules about who can be an Apartment Manager? For example if a tenant broke their lease agreement, how could they become an on-site manager? I am baffled that in the building I reside they could hire someone who has overdosed on site, and is generally a sketchy sort of person. I would like to make a complaint to the apartment management company, but I am wondering if I have any grounds here… I was shocked he wasn’t evicted after”
“For just rent collection and payment tracking I'd skip the all-in-one suites since you're paying for stuff you won't touch. I use RentRedi and it does autopay plus clean payment tracking without feeling bloated. What's your monthly budget looking like for 75 doors?”
“I usually like to pay half of my fees and rent and for some reason the make payment button is not working and I have no idea why. Never had this kind of problem before? Anyone else’s experiencing the same thing?”
“Three roommates one moved out, a new one about to move in saw the room and turned out it was left pretty dirty with some furniture. The one leaving did mention the furniture but when the new guy saw the room he didn’t want any of it. How would you guys delegate this situation? The guy already reached out and requested a $100 to clean the room and remove the furniture. submitted by”
