“My redmax bcz260ts is idling very high. Throttle cable is moving freely, idle speed screw is fully backed out, i dont see any air leaks in fuel tubing or tank, and the carb gaskets look good. “Inherited an old Honda EB11000 generator with a GX620 engine circa 1998 and only 160 hours of run time. It was blowing white smoke when running. When I got this unit it had stale gas in the tank/carb and a lot of water in the oil. I replaced the gas, cleaned the carb, and changed the oil twice. Still blew white smoke. “I’m currently working on this Honda clone (it’s a powerfist 196cc, model dj168f). I was having issues with the motor surging, so I cleaned the carburetor thoroughly. Same issue showed up. Started to take a look at adjusting the governor and attempted to adjust it and the idle screw on the carb (backed out 1.5 turns from seated). Now while idling, it revs to dangerous levels. “I have a 1968 Case 155 garden tractor with a Kohler K241 I recently changed the oil in it and immediately used it for a n hour or so then parked it. A few days later I noticed it appeared to be leaking oil. I thought hat it might be leaking from the pan plug. I pulled the dipstick and smell gas. It’s been sitting a couple weeks now and today I drained a gallon of fluid from the crank case. It’s gas and oil mixed. A GALLON! And the gas tank is bone dry. It appears that th gas leaked into the cran”

“I’ve got a Makita BHX2501 Petrol 4-Stroke leafblower. Can any help diagnosing this issue, it almost seems like a pressure build up in the fuel tank but im not sure. When I prime the carb fuel travels up to the carburettor but then the fuel keeps on coming out it’s very annoying and it does this even when the leaf blower is running. “Posted the other day about craftsman lt1000 with intek engine, stalled and developed knock on second pass around the yard. Turned over very easily with spark plug out but knocked. I took the valve cover off and found the bottom valve was loose almost to the point of coming off, but the push rod was still in its little seats in the case and on the rocker. They don’t appear to be bent, but I can’t get the engine to turn over enough to adjust the valve properly. It just locks up and won’t get past”
“Kohler 5400 series 19.5 HP engine with 74.5 hours on a Craftsman T2200 Lawn Tractor. 3rd year, no issues at all the first two years. After the winter, needed to charge the battery. Now, it won't start. Make a click and that's it. The flywheel won't turn. I hook it up to a battery charger and it starts and runs great. But it only starts like 10% of the time after removing the charger. So, I am able to use it, but I need to perform a ballet after hooking it back up. TIA for advice. ”
“Have a predator 9500 with 400-500 hours. Never changed the oil until a now. Actually just added oil since it all burnt out. Left the gas tank open, it rained and it rusted bad. I drained it and cleaned it out best I could. Still rusty. The point of the story. The damn thing still purrs like day one. Been through hell and is still amazing. It can handle anything. “I have a lawn tractor with a Kawasaki a 24 HP FR730V engine and only 200 hrs, mine since new. Won't start from a dead battery. REPLACED BATTERY no change. Replaced 20 amp fuses, solenoid etc. Fuel pump good, gas going to the bowl .... sits in the bowl till I empty it. No issues with fuel - new and at a loss. Carb solenoid good (I hear click).
