“Hey, thanks for making this! 🙌 The video turned out really well! I especially like the opening and how you presented the trip generation process and the final itinerary with the map. One thing I noticed is that the destination input placeholder needs a little work, as the text…”
“Yes. I am a full-time nomad. 750 places on my want-to-go list alone. I can't even plan a route in Google maps from those list of places. I would also like to be notified of them (even if it's just a flag on the map) as I'm navigating.”
“We recently took a trip to Alaska. One of the best trips of my life! Many asked for our itinerary. I must have mentioned a few places or things we did but never actually shared a proper itinerary. Because there was none. At least none properly documented and easy to share. When…”

“We have rebuilt the App. ExperoAI is now one of it’s kind. It now becomes a conversational concierge for complete trip experience and want to share with the community to try it and their feedback. It is completely free, we want to make trip planning…”
This is great thank you! [re: Is there like a program for low income folks to go see national parks?]
“just downloaded it, will give it a go later today. the idea of having trip planning and social stuff in same place is interesting, most apps i tried do one or other but not both. curious how the AI part works in practice, like does it suggest places based on where you going or is it more like chatbot you ask questions? [re: Looking for people to try a travel app I’ve been building 🌍]”
“Hey, thanks for making this! 🙌 The video turned out really well! I especially like the opening and how you presented the trip generation process and the final itinerary with the map. One thing I noticed is that the destination input placeholder needs a little work, as the text doesn’t display quite right. Other than that, I’m genuinely impressed with the result! If you could fix that small issue, I’d be happy to feature the video on the Smart Journey website. Great work, and thanks again! 🚀 [r”
“thank you! [re: [Beta] Roam: helps you plan the trip, so you can actually enjoy it (free web app)]”
“Quick update: your suggestion is live now. Feed and My trips have a short explanation of shared collections vs your own trip, with a help button to bring it back. Thanks for helping make it clearer!”
“Had a very unfun time trying to plan my last bday trip, so I figured I'd try to make something that I'd personally use on my next trip. I couldn't find a good app for trip planning with friends, group chats, packing, budgeting, day planning etc. In January I started making one and I finally got it on the App Store! Still working on finding friends to review it on Android so I can get on the Play store. I've made like 200 updates since its been on the App Store cause I wasn't”
“I am planning to build this! I'll let you know if I am surely building it. Very great idea btw. These features are really needed.”
“I'm a biased party (as Dawarich developer), but in my opinion UI is significantly better and it offers more features :)”
“one thing id check is how far out people plan. forecasts past about 10 days are close to guessing, so for a trip 3 weeks away id build the list off the normal weather for that place and month, then swap to the real forecast when its in range and say which one the list is using. otherwise its confidently wrong for everyone who packs early”
“Heard a lot of that, been doing a complete overhaul - thanks for the feedback todays the first day I’ve had anyone look at it and lootttss to work on lol”
That’s so extremely useful thank you so so much! These are all things I’ve not thought about as just the way I travel but this is exactly what I was hoping to…
“Great point. Currently it does have achievements/badges like explorer, globetrotter etc but there is no way of sharing those badges. Let me work on it. Thanks for the tip.”
I had no idea this existed and it is so awesome! I just downloaded the app and there is some pretty awesome stuff by me. Thank you!!
“This is also really cool but it might be too hard for the self host. I only have a laptop for now, the RAM crisis hit me really bad.”
“thank you!! i think people like the fact that i take on their suggestions to improve the app as quick as i can”
“Travel planning is crucial for a smooth trip, having notes on itineraries helps me stay organized.”
“Genuinely love this idea — the tappable saved places during navigation is the killer feature. Having to end navigation in Google Maps just to add a stop you've been saving for months is infuriating. One question: how would scenic routing handle different tastes in 'scenic'? I imagine some people want twisty mountain roads, others want coastal cruising, others just like small-town main streets. Would preset 'scenic profiles' be enough, or would the app need to learn your prefe”
“the png card thing is such a nice touch, agreed. feels like someone actually cared about the details for once”

“The most important is knowing about places that are on my Want-to-go list as I am driving by them. This is incredibly frustrating with Google maps right now. I suspect if I could add them to my route it would automatically generate the kind of route that I want, as most of them aren't on the interstate anyway.”
I personally would pay $99/yr like I do for onX and iOverlander.
“count me in, got a trip to lisbon next month and the per-trip pricing is exactly why i avoid most travel apps”
Wow, 20 national park in 20 days; that’s cool. Thanks for the comment!
“We recently took a trip to Alaska. One of the best trips of my life! Many asked for our itinerary. I must have mentioned a few places or things we did but never actually shared a proper itinerary. Because there was none. At least none properly documented and easy to share. When I was planning my Alaska trip I only got bits and pieces of others itinerary. It was frustrating. I’m sure you have felt this pain at some point in time. I decided to solve this problem myself. I have built “Moosafir” (ea”
thank you very much for using the app. the route difference isnt a bug, the app intended to give you independent routing as an option. i can add a ride leaderboard to…
“Downloaded it yesterday and tried with my boyfriend, we do moto trips sometimes on the weekend. The code sharing is super smooth, we were on the map together in like 10 seconds which surprised me both. The turn-by-turn directions worked fine for me but my boyfriend's phone showed him a route that was going different way for first 2 minutes, then it corrected itself. Not sure if that's a bug or just GPS being slow to catch up. One thing that felt missing, I expected to see some kind of in”
“Love this concept. All the trip planning sites I've used basically try to replace your brain with a schedule and I hate that What's the cutoff for "reachable" though, like is it showing me places 8 hours away or just day trip territory I'll poke around on mobile later and let you know if anything's busted, the whole "real transit data instead of guesses" thing is what sold me”
“I went through the onboarding. One small thing I noticed: the app opened in Turkish, but some place details were still in Russian, like “2 350 м • Италия” and “10 авг 2026”. That was the first thing that made it feel unfinished. The main idea was clear though.”
“How would you distinguish your app from Polar Steps and other similar ones that also try to keep memories together?”
“Yeah, first off, +1 to a great app. I'm having the same issue with google maps - it doesn't work despite the API key - did you get it to work ok? I'm having good success with the mcp server; it took a bit of manual config, but that allows me to parse robustly.”
“honestly this is way cleaner than i expected, most travel planning tools feel like they're fighting you the whole time. the share feature is the real draw here though, half my trips turn into a mess of screenshots and scattered google maps links when i try to keep people in the loop does it handle multi-city stuff well? i've got a trip coming up where i'm bouncing between 4 cities and most apps just give up and show me a blank screen the "get inspired" part is interesting t”
“FYI, your travel app is clean!! I plugged in the bachelor trip I was planning and it provided a lot of ideas of places to visit and had estimated budget and suggested pacing. I highly recommend this travel app to help plan trips”
Thanks! Appreciate that :) Yeah man. Happy to share a code
“Hi there, Firstly, a huge congrats on just getting something out the door and live on the App Store! I've just booked a trip to Cairns in a few weeks time and I don't think I can suffer through Wanderlog so I'm keen to give your app a try. I'll shoot you a DM and would be keen to try out the premium features. Can I ask how you're pulling mentioned places out of videos? That seems pretty awesome. I have a bunch of videos in playlists that will benefit from this feature. Congra”
Then yeah, I'd be honored to try it out. Looking forward to it
“One trap with installs-caused-per-free-user, it lags badly. Someone saves places for weeks b4 the trip gets planned and thats when the map actually gets sent to someone. If u read it as a 7 day number it'll look weak and ur conclusion will be cut the refill, which is the thing u just talked urself out of. Cohort it and give it at least one full trip cycle, whatever that looks like for ur users. Agreed on directories being decorative for clicks btw, backlinks and getting quoted r the only rea”
“I'm all for this, we are a group of type B people, but I have anxiety so I always still end up planning the whole thing but I get overwhelmed with all the apps that I need to go check out (app for the reservations, app for the maps, app for splitting up the expenses), it makes me go crazy, so I would love if it's just in one whole app actually, maybe you can add a feature that you can just drop a link in the app so it leads you to wherever you need to go (so I don't have to go back o”
“I think what they meant is that the first thing you do in the app once you set a trip is that the budget would get asked first, so then if any of the members suggest a hotel or something, they can easily get reminded on what the budget is. You can also do it so the budget can be split into the max that would get spent on accomodations, on activities, etc.”
“Yes exactly!! I’m trying to think of what an MVP for this would look like. Wouldn’t only getting budget alignment put people off (since they could just use google docs)?”
“The budget part feels stronger than another itinerary planner. i'd let everyone enter a private range first, then show the overlap without naming who chose what. otherwise the most budget conscious friend still has to be the awkward one saying no. i would test that before adding the research and reservation stuff.”
“Yes, please forgive me. But I’ve spent the last 1.5 years planning trips with my friends and it’s insane how the burden of deciding the budget falls on the organiser. When it comes to budget, I feel like: 1. People who are most budget conscious speak up the least 2. The organizer inevitably has to choose options that everyone hates or is too expensive because they have no clarity over what the group wants to spend And another pain for me as an organiser is that I need to have the vision and exec”
“www.tripivista.com - Set up Your Traveller Stats & Find people to travel with and plan the whole trip in one place for free”
“The group chat part hits too close to home. Every trip I've planned with friends devolved into three different people booking different hostels and nobody remembering what we actually agreed on. Curious how the matching handles the awkward part, like whether it's just "same destination, same dates" or if there's any filtering for travel style. Nothing worse than getting matched with someone who wants to wake up at 6am for museums when you're trying to sleep off a hangov”
“That could well be right, but it only holds if enough time has passed for a second trip. How long ago were those three, and how often do those people actually travel? Six months ago for someone who travels twice a year tells you nothing yet. Three weeks ago for someone who travels monthly tells you a lot. The other thing your own numbers point at: the one who subscribed did it because his trips recur. Individual travellers are the wrong shape for that. Organisers are the right one. Tour and trek”
