“okay my bad, i shouldn't hate the player but the game (clips were 8 years old)”
“In my honest opinion, there's nothing special about "[thing] be like" videos, it's the same old wojakslop every time and feels like it's just horoscopes for the terminally online "OMG THIS IS SO ME" type of stuff (they give me the same aura as "MBTI" (you know, that 16…”
“A short? Absolutely not, thoes are always cut up and taken out of context. One video makes 100's of shorts that are biased in every direction. If a short gets a reaction out of you, the best thing to do is find the whole video and form your own opinion.”

“They seem to have found a loophole with editing the videos in a way that maybe youtube doesn't detect it or they claim it as 'fair use' Not many channels used to do this sort of full clip reaction since there was a high chance of copyright claims. Now these channels show full clips. One channel I saw was "CanonEventReactions" & the other famous one recently for the massive fake copyright claims they got "Rice & Ginger" Is this type of reaction to full epis”
“It's understandable. Not everyone's into these kinds of long form videos. And sometimes you're just not into certain personalities. She is pretty monotone which isn't everyone's cup of tea.”
“Honestly, it feels like it is still getting there, and in some videos it feels like it's getting better, and then goes back to shit, and better again on the next. I think this also depends a lot on how the first batch of people that the video is shown to engage with it. Since I still have old subs that are nowhere interested in my new content, sometimes the videos sink pretty early. But hey, every channel is a channel and even depending on the niche, things can change drastically so take all”
“There will be another online video media golden age but it won't be on Youtube. It will be on some other platform several to many years down the road. Youtube will just keep getting worse and less usable from here on out.”
“You are exactly right when you say everything is boring. People are leaving the platform for other things.”
Wow, thats is huge reply. I completely agree with you on every single point. About the whole idea, it is a thing just not very widespread. Thank you!
“hi guys! i started a movie/tv show reaction channel earlier this year, like of the dylanisintrouble/aaron and jo/trin lovell variety. i had some success with my first video, in that a clip i posted to tiktok went a little viral but afterwards i just lost steam because of life stuff. anyway, i'm looking to get back into it. i had posted a video reacting to the first episode of euphoria, and i've recorded the 2nd and 3rd episode but i was wondering if it's even worth it to continue, or”
“i stoped watching a long time ago i only occasionally watch some ift hey are abt a gen good topic not one more “AiR bNb HoStS aRe GeTtInG iNsAnE” or “TrAd WiFeS aRe gEtTiNg OuT oF cOnTrOl ” and they all have the same phrases same format same thing over and over”
“a simple thumbnail can still work if Steve Haines and the Hare are both clear, but the old videos getting millions does not guarantee the same result now. the emotion contrast is enough, so i would keep the idea.”
“It’s like a friend simulator for people, you watch for them and not for the game they’re playing or video they’re reacting to. When you watch YouTube you watch for the content and not for them”
“You can find what you like on YouTube. You could search for anything on YT and you're bound to find channels about it. I recently discovered there is a whole community of YouTubers who only make videos about Power Rangers and related stuff. WiiLiketoPlay has that "group of friends just playing games" feeling to it. The channel is not what it used to be anymore. But they have hundreds of older Let's Play videos for Nintendo games.”
