Multiple 3D printing enthusiasts are experiencing issues with their prints, including visible lines, bumpy textures, and layer adhesion problems. They’ve tried adjusting settings like flow rate, Z-offset, and nozzle calibration but haven’t found a consistent solution. This disrupts the creation process and reduces print quality.

“Using a P2S Bambu Lab using PLA. Using Bambu lab to print. Printed fine since Friday all through yesterday then it kept getting stringy as you can see. Cleaned plate, calibrated, dried filament. Then still stringy. Haven’t changed any temperature or anything. Any recommendations to check would be greatly appreciated. submitted by /u/General-Ad4183 [link] [comments]”

“I'm printing this model upright on a Bambu Lab P2S with a 0.4 mm nozzle and PLA Basic. The model has a rough stone texture surrounding a flat rectangular top surface. I'm trying to get that flat area as smooth as possible, while keeping the rough stone texture unchanged. I added a modifier cube over only the flat area and used ironing. My best surface so far is Rectilinear ironing at 30 mm/s, 20% flow, 0.08 mm spacing and 0.15 mm inset. The surface gets smooth (not the best, but I can&#3”

“I use a p1s with 0,6mm nozzle and polymaker PA612-15CF Filament. I used the preset profile in bambu studio and i calibrated the 0,6mm nozzle with that filament. The first pic is without calibration and the second is with calibration. I chose the extrusion value -10. Looks a lot better but i still get those hills and rips in the top surface. I used 12% gyroid infill with 2 walls at 0,18mm layer height. I tried increasing the top layers from 3 to 5 but its not getting any better. I had the same re”

“What would cause this bumpy surface finish when printing with TPU-95A? Looking around, most common suggestion was moisture in the filament, but after drying my filament for 12 hours and trying again it started with the bumps at the exact same spot which indicates to me its more of an infill geometry thing but I don't know what. Hoping you all can help! Printer: Bambulabs P1S Filament: Slic3d TPU 95A Temps: Bed: 35°C Nozzle: 240°C Speed Inner wall: 300mms Outer wall: 200mms Top Surface: 200mm”

“I Keep getting this hard bumpy surface on my prints. I can get a near perfect first layer, but by layer 3-4 my nozzle is grinding on the bumps. This is PLA at 200-210. I checkes esteps, dehydrated the filament for 12 hours, using mesh bed leveling that has been checked. This happens on both cura and orca. “I’m trying to diagnose an unusual surface quality problem on my Bambu Lab P2S. I’m not expecting a perfectly smooth, injection-molded finish: the surface is noticeably rougher and more inconsistent than a normal FDM top layer. “Super new to 3D printing here with a bambu p2s. Im using a 0.4mm hotend, the model has to be printed with single wall loops. Is there a way to minimize the blobbing between the walls as well as the seams on the side? Part of the walls are also disconnected as you can see in the first image which I dont really understand, I tried using different wall generations but it didnt make much of a difference. submitted by /u/Middle_Actuary_1690 [link] [comments]”

“I got a spool of the Panchroma Dual Silk PLA in Banquet ( Panchroma™ Dual Silk PLA - Banquet) and I am struggling to get it working on my Bambu Lab P2S. I have been using the Panchroma silk profile in Bambu Studio, but whenever I print it sounds like the nozzle is scraping the print and it ends up terrible with a bunch of gaps. I was able to successfully print a temperature tower at 40mm/s, but every design I try to print (even on silent speed) turns out like the picture. Any advice would be gre”

“Hey everyone, I have been dealing with this issue on my bambu A1 for the last 2 days. Would greatly appreciate if someone can help please. So far I have tried: - Nozzle swaps (0.4 hardened steel, new 0.4 stainless steel) - DIfferent plates (Pei plate, cool plate, textured plate) - Bed tramming - Full maintenance callibration - Flow ratios (1.02, 0.98, 0.95) - Adjusting 4 small screws behind the nozzle Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/Crafty-Move-4522 [link] [comments]”

“Hello, I'm having some trouble with the Supertack build plate from Bambu. As I understand it, this build plate should give me a smooth surface on my prints and although it is working, I am able to print successfully and some area's are indeed smooth, the print isn't smooth overall. You can see on the picture I included that the 2 lose parts are printed on the Supertack plate and have some diagonal streaks, whereas the completed item (printed on the Textured PEI plate) has the entire”

“Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well! I need some help with an issue that seems to happen to almost every beginner. I've been 3D printing for about 3 months now, and suddenly, I started getting those famous "zits" or "blobs" on the surface of my prints. I’ve done a lot of research and tried a bit of everything, but the issue persists. Since there are many potential causes, I’ll provide as much detail as possible to hopefully make it easier to identify the problem!”

“Printed the pictured napkin holder and shelf on my Bambu A1. Given they are each a single color, and there isn’t a change in how flush or flat these things should be on the outside, I was surprised that both prints have lines that stand out quite a bit (where the hollow part of the napkin holder begins, and where the legs begin on the shelf). These didn’t show up in the preview on the slicer so wondering if there are certain settings that would help with this, or whether this is a common thing i”
