Users are experiencing issues with prints detaching mid-print, likely due to adhesion problems. Additionally, post-processing (sanding) is proving difficult and time-consuming.

“Every time I try to print at 0.08mm with 0.2 nozzle on my Bambu PS1 it fails half way through printing. I have changed the flow rate to 0.96 and enabled z-hop to 0.4mm as suggested in other posts but I get the same results.…”

“I am using a a1 mini, I believe regular PLA filament. And am using bambu studios . I keep getting issues printing this print where it doesn't stick . Ive tried printed 4 times already and the 3rd time it gave me a blob of death 😭 took a bit to clean but I am still having issues.. Ibr tried brim, lowering and increasing speed and temperature but still issues. Anyone can help me fix these issues where it keeps breaking and coming off the plate while printing ? submitted by /u/Long”

“I'm trying to print out some pieces and the first one came out perfectly. Then the next one came out spaghettified. I cleaned the plate and it stuck better but even so it's like it stopped extruding ever centimeter or something and I ended up with the thing on the right. I don't know what I'm doing wrong to cause it to do that (note the first one and the last two are technically different pieces) I have the prusa core one and I'm using prusa slicer submitted by /u”

“I did a print last night with black PETG, but the print failed, but when removing the print i had apperantly took a small part of the coating. After reprinting it over night i tryed to remove the print again to see this time it took off even more. What does this mean? I'd like to know why this happened, if it will continue with further print or rather if i can even still use this bed? What should i do? submitted by /u/LmaoPew [link] [comments]”

“Been trying to get my printer working for a while now as it’s my first printer. Each time I try to print a benchy the printer stops extruding at the area shown in the picture. What could cause it to stop specifically here? Maybe something to do with the small cross sectional area? Or it might be failing after a certain amount of time printing. But why? submitted by /u/AdLeading6357 [link] [comments]”

“Hey all! Anytime I print something flat like this wall piece one edge always gets chewed up. I printed a smaller garage and one corner was chewed up any ideas? I am using a raft should I make it thicker? I am using a Bambu Labs X1C PLA Matte Green with default Bambu PLA matte settings. TIA submitted by /u/CxBear74 [link] [comments]”

“Hi everyone, I’m somewhat new to 3d printing, and I have a Bambu A1. It was doing really good for me with no issues but lately I’ve been finding all my prints having these random spikes, and then today the whole piece looked pretty bad. I tried resetting but I guess I don’t really know what else to try. I want my prints to be pretty again :( EDIT: I print with PLA at 220° and I always have the printer at standard or the slower speed. I use the Bambu studio slicer or sometimes stuff just straight”

“I’ve been noticing that certain prints like this one seem to be failing, mainly the outer ring that’s being made simply pops off the printing bed and gets dragged out. I tried using this glue they gave me with my printer, but I’ve seen little difference. Anyone know of any better glue, adhesive, or any methods of keeping the prints to stay on during the process? Idk what it is, but these prints work well the first time, and then I make the same thing again and things like this happen submi”

“I am using Elegoo. I am using pla The speed is 7000 mms for the normal print speed To be honest, I have not really had issues aside from adhesive stick so I am not certain as to what this issue may be. My theory is that it is because of wet filament so I have already ordered a new filament dryer.. and I intend to order more if this is in fact the case. But even so. I am uncertain as to what is causing my supports and the overall print to have such bad layer lines. Please help. I need this for a”

“Did a print.. when poping it off the build plate, the bottom layer sliced off the model. This is dissapointing, but a learning experience... So, what should I do to avoid this? Is it just "one of those things" that happen some time? submitted by /u/Scavgraphics [link] [comments]”

“I am printing a relatively large box (220 mm x 130 mm footprint) out of Sunlu ABS-FR on a Bambu Lab X1E. The box tends to warp during printing, lifting the corners off the bed. For better adhesion (to prevent the warping) I raised the bed temperature from 90 °C in the first print to 100 °C and then even 110 °C. However, this only made the warping worse and lifted the corners off the bed more. Does thermal shrinkage become more pronounced with higher bed temperatures due to less even heat in the”

“Hi all. I have been having some issue printing recently and I suspect the filament is not dry enough. Can anyone confirm? The first layer printed very nice but the second layer seems like its not extruding properly. If it is wet filament im not exactly sure on the best way for me to dry it out, any suggestions? “My process for these: Quick rough sanding with 60 grit. Looking for areas that will be harder to sand once glued. Glue/Assemble, and fill seams with filler Full rough sand with 60/120 grit Mask any highly detailed areas (Chevrons on Tracer's gun, armory name on Halo pistol) Spray with filler primer Progressively sand to 400 grit Spray with primer Dry/Wet sand with 1000 and 2000 Airbrush. “I've tried speeding up and slowing down the process, but it just delayed the inevitable. For some reason these lines stick to the printer nozzle and break off after it moves to the next one. Is there a setting to slow down the output? Have you people faced the same problem before? Also maybe covering the plate in some sticky solution might work, but idk if there are consequences to that submitted by /u/The_Danger34 [link] [comments]”

“Hey hey, I am currently running into an issue that has seemed pretty consistent with a larger majority of my "bigger" prints ever since I picked up my Saturn 3 Ultra. For whatever reason, despite more Burn In layers, more Transition layers, a higher exposure time, slowing those all down, changing to PFA instead of FEP, making my rafts smaller, and a few other things, I keep getting raft delaminations just about every time I do a larger/bigger print. I even bought Elegoo's resin hea”

“Hey smart people of reddit! I don't quite know what it is happening but my rafts are slowly releasing themselves of the plate during printing. The plate has been cleaned thoroughly with the correct soap. I am using the FDG config on my A1 mini with sunlu meta PLA at 210° Nozzle and 65° bed temps. “Im still pretty new to 3d printing. Ive occasionally had some issues like this. Usually it isnt this pronounced, but with how bad it was on this print I figured it was time to ask around. Ive only printed with pla, pla+, pla matte, and pla silk, dunno if the specific types of pla matter or not. I printed this on a bambu lab p1s using sunlu pla matte. Its also happened with bambu pla matte. Is this caused by a setting or moisture or what? submitted by /u/Matt2580 [link] [comment”

“Newer to 3D printing this year, so not quite sure how to troubleshoot this. First off, some details: I’m using a P2S FlashForge PETG-CF Nozzle is 0.4mm hardened layer level is 0.2mm First layer speed is 35 mm/s This is the first time using PETG-CF and first time printing across the whole build plate. I’m curious what’s going on here. As you can see there is some potential stringing and some lack of adhesion. It’s also interesting that towards the front edge the finish is more shiny than the rest”

“Hi guys, I'm struggling with printing a topographic print. “Hello! I'm a 3d printer with a middle of the road experience level, but I'm trying to print one of my first larger models on my Bambulab P1S. As seen in the pictures, portions of the model are developing these strings of fillament, which cause the print to fail eventually. I don't know why this is happening? Additionally, a separate issue I am running into is that portions of my prints look rough / bumpy, while others do not on the same piece. I would like this model to be as smooth”

“Hello everyone. I have a problem with my Bambu Lab A1 printer. No matter what model I print, every flat surface turns out terribly rough. I can't seem to fix it. I've already heard suggestions to clean the bed or tighten the heater block screws, but nothing has helped so far. “Anyone have any advice on printing with ABS - my print keeps turning "rough" about halfway through the print. I have dried it twice in my dry box (each time with the recommended 6hr drying time) and once (at 1hr) in my AMS 2 (mostly to lower the humidity in the AMS). I have a P1S Bambu Lab printer, am using Inland (Micro Center's brand) ABS, and the default ABS print settings within Bambu Lab. “Hello I am printing a rotor hub for a blisk design out of bambu petg basic and as soon as the cavities on the side start to close at their top, ugly layer shifts/lines appear which seem to be from all 4 directions(pics). What could be the reason for this and how could I try to mitigate this? “It looks fine on the slicer? Sometimes it stops adhering half way, sometimes it’s around 30% of the way. It’s only for this STL (card holder), I’ve not had this issue before and have been printing just fine for years.
