Several users are seeking assistance with modifying existing 3D model files (STL) to customize parts, particularly for RC car components. They lack the expertise to perform these remixes themselves and are looking for community support.

“It frustrates me to no end that almost NONE of the models I want to download include step or SCAD files to allow you to make edits in CAD software. It seems like they only ever include the STL and 3MF, but very frequently I need to make I’ve gotten good at using Bambu Studio to make edits with my only tools being negative primitives and shapes. But it’s seriously a pain in the ass, there is no nice “snap to grid” or “snap to face” features and generally I feel like I’m just using the wrong softw”

Maybe a weird request but I’m looking for a stl file of ram horns (miniature sized, so I can glue them on some of my warhammer minis), does anyone know where and how I can find some? I know nothing about 3D printing, I just know my warhammer shop can print it for me if I give them stl file. Thanks a lot for reading and for the help! “https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6144917 I'm trying to print this mask for halloween, but it's too tall for my printer. I can't figure out how to split it into smaller parts. If someone could split it at the ears so that it's three different objects, and put the file in the replies, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! “Hi! Recently got the idea to print a ragdoll, figured it would be a fun fidget. There are plenty of STLs for that obviously, but the semi-specific part i was looking for was a ragdoll with stiffer joints, so it could sort of retain the shape that it's bent into on impact. wasnt really finding anything so i wanted to reach out to everyone here and see if they could help me out. thank you in advance! submitted by /u/Global_Housing1498 [link] [comments]”

“Does anyone Hi, I'm looking for a 3D-printable circle-cutting jig similar to the Jasper 200 router circle jig. I don't need an exact copy, I'm just looking for an STL/3MF file that I can print and use with a router to cut accurate circles. Ideally something with a similar range and adjustable pivot points to the Jasper 200. I've searched Thingiverse, Printables, MakerWorld, etc., but haven't found a good match.
