“Can see Meta Ads CPM rise unexpectedly across campaigns without any change in targeting or creatives. With plenty of audience size left to reach. Anyone else observed the same? costs have suddenly doubled. (It's for a fintech app)”

“I own a Canadian healthy snack brand that runs ads on meta. We launched in Canada in December 2025 - targeting Canada only - CPMs were $70 cad on day 1 and as purchases started coming the CPMs dropped down to about $40 and stayed there We recently launched in the USA on Sep 17 2026 - launched ads in the same account that was targeting Canada using the same pixel - CPM was $120 cad on day 1 and kept rising to $300 cad CTR was at 3-4% outbound I created a new ad account in usd targeting USA only -”
“Curious to get a broader read from people managing Google Ads across different companies and industries. For those of you managing multiple accounts, or Heads of Marketing / paid media leads who can see the bigger picture: what are you seeing lately in terms of actual performance? Especially interested in the period since Google's August 17 bidding changes. Are you seeing: Conversion volume trending down? CPA / CAC increasing? Conversion rates declining? CPCs increasing? Same spend producing”
“My CPM was usually around $20-30 (data of 2-3 years). For the past few weeks it's above $100. What could be the reason for such skyrocketing CPM, since I didn't change anything that I usually do? And should I be worried about it, it's kinda of a wasteful stat for me, never looked at it too much, but jump this high is something out of ordinary for me and I am unsure what to make of it. submitted by /u/peperok [link] [comments]”
“Hello! We have an info product (web app) with subscription. US only targeting, our audience is 99% male and skew older. We were getting around 45-50$ CPMs for weeks, and we have changed the underlying subscription from around 20-40 dollars per month to 149 dollars for yearly subscription (so we tested removing monthly/quarterly subscriptions forcing annual payment). This was on Friday, and CPM rose to 145$ on Monday. We have reverted the prices on Sunday evening but there is no way we can surviv”
“I have had a google search campaign on broad match keyword on maximum conversion value with no ROAs target performing well prior to the update (Only bid for new customers), but after the update conversions have fallen off a cliff. I am an ecommerce brand For people who google search campaigns on manual cpc, has there been any changes good or bad for you? Should I be using maximum conversions and test that? Should that be in a new campaign or an existing one? Thanks! submitted by /u/B”

“Running Meta ads for a D2C apparel brand in India. My best-performing ad has seen CPM climb from ₹161 to over ₹440 in about a week, while CTR has actually stayed flat or gotten better the whole time. ROAS has dropped from 3.8x down to around 1.2x in the same period. This one ad has been getting the majority of spend in its ad set the whole time, if that matters. Since CTR isn't dropping, it doesn't feel like typical creative fatigue. What are the possible reasons CPM would climb this muc”
“Almost every single one of the accounts I manage are experiencing a 20-50% increase in CPCs this month on google ads. Never in my 10 years of doing this have a seen this consistent of an increase across the board outside of BFCM. Feels like the Aug 17th change was just a cash grab by google. How are you all dealing with this? submitted by /u/Numerous_Ad_5508 [link] [comments]”
“I’m running Meta Ads for a US-focused relationship/social media SaaS. The subscription is $14.99/month. I optimize for Purchase and target a fairly broad US audience. Even when the campaign was performing well, my CPM was unusually high: CPM: ~$130–140 CTR: ~18% CPC: ~$0.75 Purchase CPA: ~$15–20 I recently restarted the same winning static creative in a fresh ad set. Current early results: CPM: ~$170–180 CTR: ~20% CPC: ~$0.80–0.90 Cost per LPV: ~$1.00–1.20 So my question is: why has my Meta CPM”
“I run a US-focused relationship/social-media SaaS at $14.99/month, optimizing for Purchase. Historically, my best static creative performed roughly like this: * CPM: ~$130–140 * CTR: ~18% * CPC: ~$0.75 * Cost per landing page view: ~$0.80 * Purchase CPA: roughly $15–20 I restarted campaigns after about a week with very little recent Purchase activity. Now two fresh ad sets using the same winning creative are getting: * CPM: ~$170–180 * CTR: ~20–22% * CPC: ~$0.75–0.90 * LPV: ~$0.90–1.20 * But ver”

Is anyone else seeing a similar drop, especially on Android or i”
“In July, our average cpms were Rs 205, currntly as this month ends they are at Rs 350, a 75% up. CTR all time high Conv Rate all time high Freq in control What really explns this? Is this really seasonal competition or anything else. submitted by /u/lokendra1511 [link] [comments]”
“Before March and the major update, I had $30-35 CPMs. Post update, my CPMs have shot up 3x! Which is crazy, I have done almost everything to bring them down but nothing works. The only method that was working was standard attribution (7-day click, 1-day engagement, 1-day view). But, with standard it counts purchases which didn't come from META. Any ideas on how to bring them down? submitted by /u/Kealvyn [link] [comments]”
“Recently I’ve been using codex for my Google ads management. But everytime a new model releases, I keep thinking whether that’s going to be better at helping me manage my Google ads. But there just aren’t any good benchmark/evaluation on this. Does anyone know which frontier model is actually the most capable in this space? submitted by /u/tongc00 [link] [comments]”
“About to launch my first Meta purchase campaigns from a brand new BM, ad account, pixel, everything. Targeting US market, women’s products (fashion and home/lifestyle categories, nothing supplement or health related). I know CPM varies based on audience, competition, creative quality and a bunch of other factors, so I’m not looking for one magic number. Just trying to set realistic expectations. A few things I’d love to hear from people who’ve been through the new account phase: 1) What CPM rang”

“I've been running search & PMax campaigns and the results have been very stable for over 2 years. But recently, from 24 - 30 July, my account's CPA rose by 63.3%. I also noticed that my CPMs account wide rose 72.89%, which meant serving ads suddenly became much more expensive. For Performance Max campaigns, the CPM increased by 63% and CPA went up by 74%. And strangely, for search campaigns, the CPM actually dropped by 17%, but my CPA increased by 48%. I understand that there are lot”
“Just came across Google's latest announcement, and this feels like a pretty big change. Google is gradually retiring standalone Display campaigns and moving everything into Demand Gen . Here's the timeline: May 2026: Google recommends creating Demand Gen campaigns instead of Display. January 2027: You won't be able to create new Display campaigns. Later in 2027: Existing Display campaigns will be migrated automatically. Google says this will bring more inventory (Discover, Maps), bet”
“Looks like Google is finally merging Display into Demand Gen. From what they've announced: Starting May 2026, they're encouraging everyone to create Demand Gen campaigns instead of Display. By January 2027, you won't be able to create new Display campaigns. Later in 2027, existing Display campaigns will be migrated automatically. Google says we'll get more inventory (Discover, Maps), better creatives, AI tools and improved reporting. They also shared a case study claiming 24% low”
“Hi, has anyone seen CPM spikes in the last 3 days? Our CPMs used to be at Rs. 50-Rs. 60 last week, and they have risen to Rs. 150-Rs. 200 this week. Though the CTRs are between 1% to 1.5%, the landing is still heavy. submitted by /u/StudentElectronic198 [link] [comments]”
