“TLDR: Amazon has found yet another way to screw over drivers I had a block the other day, 38 packages, decent looking route (comparatively). Head out to the car to start loading. I always scan all the packages so I can sort them by stop…”

“So I got a ding this last Sunday for "delivering to the wrong address". Which is virtually impossible now days. First off I am extremely careful and secondly the geofencing now pretty much prevents this unless you are actively careless. I have the latest Samsung phone and the accuracy for deliveries is +/- 5 feet due to the new GPS chips. Another instance Amazon giving it to me without lube. At least they can buy me dinner if they gonna fk me that hard lol. submitted by /u/”

“It's been a constant thing for me, where immediately after I finish a block my updates tab tells me to return to the station to return undelivered packages, sometimes I even get an email about it, except I delivered everything in my block. Sometimes it opens up the map with the option to start a route back to the warehouse, and sometimes it even gives me a TBA number of the package I'm supposedly going to return, but every single time I've called support about it and given them the T”

“Has anyone ever picked up their block, finished the route then got told by the app to go all the way back to the station to pick up even more packages? I don't know what is going on with Amazon Support lately but its shocking. I have been delivering with Amazon for 7 years. Whenever I get a message, I appeal it, and a human always responds. But now you appeal. You get an automated response saying tough and the decision will not be changed. I contacted them at the time. I picked up my route,”

“Bro it’s the damn app glitching today like crazy or what?! I been receiving tons of email like this today, I deliver every single package I always get for my routes, I never return packages to the warehouse I deliver everything, only time I returned a route was last week because customer service told me to return everything due to a problem that happen at the warehouse with the route I was giving… I swear this app it’s on some bs today submitted by /u/kingodking [link] [comment”

“The employee had the audacity to say, “you can delivery like 3 packages and then bring them back”. Retard. I didn’t scan the block. How do I get it out of my app? I’m still in the “scan block” screen. The guy told me to just close the app. submitted by /u/No_Purchase_4982 [link] [comments]”

“During pickup, two packages were grayed out as an exception. While delivering the rest of the packages, one of them is no longer grayed out and wants me to return to the station to pick up said package. I've read on here to ignore it and just finish the rest of the route and close the app and go home and it should go away after my block ends. Its been 36mins since my block ended, and the app still shows the map telling me the next stop is the Amazon delivery station. What should I do? I have”

“The problem: the address was missing “st” (street) at the end so the app couldn’t generate a route, the retry button didn’t do a thing, I had internet. But support just kept asking me the same question, “have you tried calling the customer twice “ I got do mad and disappointed in this company, seriously! submitted by /u/Dr-TQ_Leo [link] [comments]”

“It’s pretty scummy when Amazon takes packages that already had delivery issues and just passes the problem along to another driver with no extra pay or incentive. You know the kind of route I’m talking about—half the packages have an address issue, location problem, access issue, or some other reason they couldn’t be delivered the first time. Then Amazon throws them all together into one route and prices the block like they’re just normal, routine deliveries. You know you got the “Amazon special”

“We've definitely had periods where "not received" claims suddenly jump, and the annoying part is tracking can show delivered perfectly. I'd track them by carrier, postcode/ZIP, order value and first-time customer because sometimes there's a pattern hiding in there. For higher-value orders, signature or pickup-point delivery can be worth the extra cost. I wouldn't add friction to every order though unless the numbers actually justify it. Questions: Are the claims mostly”

“Today I had a huge, heavy box to deliver to a school that was obviously closed and completely gated!!! This person even put a P.O. Box as the address. WTF?! “Delivery drivers and couriers are absolutely useless. Unless you see a photo of it delivered with it in the hands of the customer, it does not mean it has been delivered at all. I get parcels left all over the place outside without any signs that they've even left a parcel somewhere. “I know a lot of people here have posted about their assigned cart being missing and the warehouse saying they can’t do anything and to call Driver Support, and then they end up having to fight to get paid afterward or worse, they get penalized for not picking up packages associated with a route/cart that was missing at the warehouse. “I got this email yesterday. The block in question was wholly unremarkable. I picked up, scanned, and delivered every single package, and the app closed out at the end as usual. Which was also the case with every block in the last week. Which is also what I wrote in my appeal email. So far, my standing (100% Fantastic) has not been affected by this alleged infraction – could the email have been sent in error? submitted by /u/LazyEmergency [link] [comments]”

“I’d compare one order that worked with BRT and one that fell back to Poste side by side. Check weight, dimensions, phone format, address fields and the time the label was created. If there’s no real difference, I’d ask support for the actual carrier error/reason code instead of another generic explanation. That should at least tell you if it’s the shipment data or BRT itself.”

“I recently started doing this, and on my second day I got a package on the app that didn’t have a number, and none of the last four numbers matched any of the packages I had inside my car. Are they going to count that as an undelivered package? Also, what’s up with all the unknown roads showing up on the map? “I keep running into situations where customers don’t leave their gate codes. I’ll try to contact them and they never answer. I’m not gonna sit there all day. My commute to the station is only like 7-8 minutes away from my house so that cuts driving down some but why the f do they keep giving me routes over there?
