“Hi everyone, I’m signing up for Amazon Flex in the San Francisco Bay Area. During identity verification, I took my selfie, but it kept saying “Couldn’t verify.” Now it says “Under review” and that I should receive an update by email within 1–2 business days. Has anyone had this happen during onboarding? Did you get approved after the review, or did you have to take another selfie? How long did it take? Thanks for sharing your experience! submitted by /u/Downtown_Priority227 [link] &#”

“I am desperately need of help. My license was about to expire so I reached out to flex support asking how do I upload my temporary id or if I even can. I was told I can, just to take a pic of my old license next to it. I went to settings > personal information > id verification but when I click on it, it wouldn’t load. Tried telling flex support but all they did was escalate & the escalation team just sent me instruction on how to upload. So finally my license expired & I was able”

“I was ready to start driving for Amazon Flex and realized set region is in Michigan. I live in Texas and have never lived in Michigan. I will never be able to get to Tier 2 to change my region. I’ve contacted support several times nd the only answer I get is I need to be at Tier 2. Is the only solution to delete my account and start over? submitted by /u/Competitive-Voice-11 [link] [comments]”

“I applied to an Amazon DSP and need to get my drivers license verified in the Flex app. And every time I upload a photo from my phone or the app it keeps blurring it out and causing my verification to fail. Has anyone experienced this and found a solution? submitted by /u/DistrictOk7881 [link] [comments]”

“I keep failing the first 2 attempts & somehow the 3rd passes. I feel like it might be the Internet connection inside the warehouse since it passes when I go outside. submitted by /u/No_Film_6379 [link] [comments]”

“At least 3 times in the last 5 months AmazonFlex has accused me of missing blocks I actually worked. Each time it has occurred, I will complete my facial identification and instead of being prompted to check in with my ID the app jumps to a route made up of one or two packages that are non-existent. I’ll kill the app, reset, try wifi etc (app is up to date) but ultimately an Amazon associate will have to go on their laptop and manually correct it. I get my ID scanned, route assigned, and I am of”

“I missed an Amazon Flex block because I forgot to bring my ID with me. My account is already at risk, so I’m pretty worried about getting deactivated. Would this be a good reason to appeal, or should I explain the situation differently? Has anyone successfully appealed something similar? I don’t want to make my situation worse, so I’d appreciate any advice. submitted by /u/FuckBrazy- [link] [comments]”

“So today I showed up for my block and was told that they will no longer manually check you in when your ID doesn't scan. I was told to call support and that they are supposed to override and verify your ID. The lady I spoke to said she couldn't and told me not to worry about this block or my standing and I'll still get paid. Anyone else have this issue? I've been doing this for a month and my ID has never scanned they have ALWAYS input my information in manually. I was given a ph”

“I had a morning block and an afternoon block and both of them couldn't verify my identity. I look exactly the same, nothing has changed. Support had to override both times. Has this happened to anyone? I don't know what to do because I have blocks scheduled for the rest of the week.. I've been doing fine with the new video scan since the change, haven't had any issues at all. I would really appreciate some advice on this because I'm afraid of deactivation or something!”
