“Hi everyone, I finally got a spot from Amazon Flex since I was on the waitlist. The problem is I live in San Jose and my closest warehouse is 28.9 miles away. I can’t change it and the app says I need to reach level…”
“I’m read many posts saying you can’t but I’ve heard from others you can. I just started the onboarding process and am currently employed as a warehouse associate. I’m in California. submitted by /u/WarmAct9648 [link] [comments]”
“Hey all, Wasn’t sure where to ask this because my warehouse staff are grumpy and don’t like questions. I also hate asking this question because I hate to impact someone’s income, but this is genuinely unsafe. Me and a couple of Flexers have almost been hit multiple times by a lady who flys through our SSD’s parking lot and does not stop for crosswalks with pedestrians in them, or stop signs. She almost hit one girl while she was in the crosswalk. She just blew through it and didn’t stop even tho”
“Our receiving area gets backed up pretty fast whenever a few deliveries come in close together. The biggest issue isn’t really unloading, it’s everything sitting around afterward while we figure out where pallets and heavier stuff need to go. We’ve been looking at changing how we stage things and possibly adding better carts or other dock equipment. I’ve been looking through Global Industrial and Grainger to get an idea of what’s out there, but I’m more interested in what actually helps in day t”
“What is the best warehouse to work at in the fort worth/Dallas area that preferably has dayshift options i currently work at a amazon ssd warehouse. I'm trying to either stick with amazon or try new options. Lay has to be at least 19an hour preferably 20.50 or more submitted by /u/Carmellala [link] [comments]”
“Not sure how often anyone else experienced this but it used to be a rare bug: Show up to warehouse Complete pick up Delivering smoothly Itinerary now shows a new stop asking you to go back to the warehouse for a 2nd pick up of usually 1 or 2 packages also showing the stops for those packages on the map This used to be a RARE bug, but has been now happening to me almost every other route. It is absolutely obnoxious because it WILL NOT clear my route even after block time ends, forcing me to call”

“Will there be blocks? Are there gonna be surges? Fist, see if they are pushing out less offers than usual. Next, go to the app and see what the promised delivery dates are. It’s Weds here and typical 2 day shipping would be Friday delivery but it is now promoting Monday. That means they aren’t planning on having much pushed out bc of forecasted storms. Surges will also prob be minimal bc they can blame the weather. With less blocks they’ll get someone desperate to take base. Also, since they are”
“$126 3.5 6:15 am start. warehouse 8 min away. Arrive 6:05 am. Inside load out, 5 bay doors, all closed with the metal gate. One is opened an arms length up. Ppl just sitting in their cars. 6:10 am I go peek under the door nobody is there. 6:17 am I go back to the door and crouch so low to get under. Walk all the way to the computer thankfully the thing was open to scan ID. At 6:22 am (2 min after grace period) they came to the doors and opened it. This would have been considered a missed block.”
“I've never seen a block this early at any warehouse here in Tucson... submitted by /u/tHaReALgUbeR [link] [comments]”
“I was recently approved for Hamilton and Stoney creek warehouse locations for flex. Haven’t done any blocks yet. Was able to get one from Hamilton (Sub - Same day). Now since I live in Niagara region, I wanted to know if anyone has any information on where those routes can take you. It’s an early morning route. Want to know if it is even worth it. Please share anything that can be helpful. submitted by /u/ram6010 [link] [comments]”
“I currently have my region set to Boston. I only do pickups from the Westborough warehouse though. I’d like to try to do Worcester warehouse pickups but they don’t show up with my region being Boston. My question is if I switch my region to Worcester will it still display offers from westboro? Thanks! submitted by /u/Diligent_Link6434 [link] [comments]”
“Had to use a car rental yesterday and one of the packages had dark soda that was leaking out the bag. I didn't notice until after I started delivering, but it got all over the seat and other packages. I'd rather they leave soda cases / heavy liquids unpackaged or put them in a *******g box. I was debating whether or not to still deliver it and I realized that I'd get dinged if I didn't so I delivered it anyways. They need to do better with packaging these things. submitted”
“Anyone know what's going on at warehouse VAZ2? submitted by /u/dontbeaboot [link] [comments]”
“So I went to VTX5 for a 4pm 2 hour shift, I did notice the dark skies to the north, and me thinking aint no way a 2 hour block would send me towards cypress at this time of day. WELL I WAS FKING WRONG.. in fact it was a 9 package route with an average of 3 miles between stops and the last stop? TOMBALL. I was pissed, I scanned my cart and began to head out when I noticed he security guard closing the doors. I left and put the packages in my car when I finally got the alert that VTX5 was closed a”
“Speed is extremely important for warehouses, they may not get more than 30 minutes total including walking to your spot and eating, they don’t have a lot of time to stand in line and eat for their order. Not sure how long your breaks are but it’s something you need to be mindful of”
“The new warehouse popped up on Google maps in Portland and now it looks like they are ready to start the offers on the app. Is this more like fresh or packages? submitted by /u/Sea_Major_1226 [link] [comments]”

“Anyone pick up from ZLS4? What kind of items are picked up there for a 30min block? submitted by /u/IllustratorDear329 [link] [comments]”
“Like Amazon, what the actual fuck man. No seizure warning, plus you have to do this shit to start your shift. Literally forcing your workers to have seizures. We need a flexdriver's union fucking yesterday. submitted by /u/thewayoftoday [link] [comments]”
“I’m in the Huntsville/Madison, AL area and I’ve been watching my Flex warehouse pretty closely. So far, almost every block I see falls into the same two windows: Early morning: usually around 3:45–4:15 AM start times Afternoon/evening: usually around 4:45–5:15 PM start times Every once in a while I’ll see a random 2-hour block somewhere around 10:30 AM–1:30 PM , but those seem pretty rare. I basically never see blocks starting at other times , especially the 6–9 AM type of blocks I was hoping to”
“Have somebody got a block for today morning at VTX3 Dallas? I got one but got cancelled, wondered if the warehouse close submitted by /u/Few-Host8056 [link] [comments]”
“There’s a chemical fire in a railroad yard right down the street from my warehouse. Roads in the area are closed, schools are closed, they have a shelter in place order, and the warehouse is closed up. Does Amazon send out notice to any drivers so they don’t come down to the warehouse? Fuck No! And Fuck Amazon! Update: I just got a email at 9:04 AM from Amazon telling me that my 8:15 AM block is canceled! 🤬 submitted by /u/Paymee_Money [link] [comments]”
“So the Amazon warehouse takes forever to let the cars in, they wait for all the cars now to be in line , waisting 15-25 minutes!! So drivers need to walk in and scan their ID and go back to their cars for more waiting!! WTF is this!!! submitted by /u/Dr-TQ_Leo [link] [comments]”
“I'd accept that, but almost all of their franchise locations in the city have sold or closed so I don't think I'm crazy”
“When there’s like 40 guys waiting on a cart they arrived before u and u just walk in get a full cart while they keep waiting? Isn’t that CONCERNING? submitted by /u/ImportanceNo9107 [link] [comments]”

“Warehouse workers really don't care, do they? It's funny, but it's also annoying when you can't find a package. submitted by /u/LazyEmergency [link] [comments]”
“I’ve been hearing about bots being used to grab orders. It’s been super slow. Orders are only coming out of a warehouse about 1.5 hours from where I am. Guess I’ll start looking for a new job. @amazon you need to fix this s***. I would much rather to do this job while I’m in school can’t wait to be done so I don’t have to keep dealing with the bs. submitted by /u/Out_here123times [link] [comments]”
“As soon as the MF warehouse employees go inside, the Ghetto starts! - Carts everywhere. - Drivers parking anywhere. - Loud Music. - Fighting. - Dogs. - Kids out of the car! Wtf is all this sh1t!! Seriously!! WTF! submitted by /u/Dr-TQ_Leo [link] [comments]”
“I have a Whole Foods pickup in 1 hour and 15 minutes. Not doing it in weather like this. We had a tornado rip through before and now this rain for the next 5-6 hours. Do they cancel themselves so I get paid? Or should I just go ahead and cancel it myself? If they cancel it, how long should I wait for them to do so? submitted by /u/Ill_Zebra_8170 [link] [comments]”
