“Clearly the order was stolen and therefore a new driver gets assigned. But why do stores refuse to remake the items when DoorDash policy would be to issue them a remake credit when this occurs? Granted it’s on the stores to have a proper handover procedure to ensure liability…”
“My last batch of orders for the day were 3 shopping orders from Safeway, 2 going to the same guy and one of those was alcohol The area I was delivering in had terrible cell reception so I could barely load directions, and I could of sworn that there were no delivery instructions…”
“How do I make a complaint about a driver? There is no where on here except a link to the drivers cell and he isn't responding. This driver just delivered my lunch to my small office lobby (I'm a nurse practitioner) and told my office staff that I owed him cash. They pulled me…”
Delivery drivers (DoorDash, Uber) are experiencing issues like missed trip requests, order substitutions/refunds, and feeling blamed for store stock problems. There's frustration around app functionality and customer interactions.

“I had 2 orders to pick up. 1st was a shopping order and the second was just a pick up. I shopped the order and went to the next pickup. App had me deliver the food first. Then when I completed that order, there was…”
“So I started doing Uber Eats this week and I’ve already been reported for an incomplete order. It was literally the first order of the day and the customer reported that I didn’t give them something. The app doesn’t even tell you what I was missing. To me it’s giving that the customer didn’t want to tip so he/she reported that something is missing. It was on three items so unless it was like a for or straw there was nothing missing. Kinda just wish uber gave a little more insight on the situatio”

Granted it’s on the stores to have a proper handover procedure to ensure liability moves to the dasher end, but still. And why is it Chipotle? 🤷 submitted by /u/Icy-Anything5885 [link] [comments]”
“My last batch of orders for the day were 3 shopping orders from Safeway, 2 going to the same guy and one of those was alcohol The area I was delivering in had terrible cell reception so I could barely load directions, and I could of sworn that there were no delivery instructions on the "get directions" screen. I get to the house and the internet connection is so bad I can't get out of the GPS navigation screen, so I didn't see the delivery instructions yet. Normally I *never* r”
“Five orders in a row someone has stolen an order I have came to pick up. My Friday night is ruined because of thieves and it’s only getting worse. Why doesn’t DoorDash have a better way to prevent this? submitted by /u/No_Disk_2258 [link] [comments]”
“The shopping ratings on the doordash driver app are totally unfair to the drivers they get penalized when a store has not updated their inventory and an item isn't available. They get penalized when a substitution is approved by the customer. My photos of empty shelf tags are never legible according to the app. How can a person get an un approved item when the app allows you to proceed to checkout with all of the items on the order. submitted by /u/unclejoey1970 [link] [com”

This driver just delivered my lunch to my small office lobby (I'm a nurse practitioner) and told my office staff that I owed him cash. They pulled me out of a room while I was seeing a patient to ask me what was going on because this is highly unusual (I always pay on my card and tip on my card) and when I spoke to him in the lobby, he told me there was supposed”
““Yes I know you’ve driven out multiple times today and spent time and gas money…. But like the store gave away your order so you’ll receive no compensation AND it will affect your cancellation rate ☺️☺️☺️” submitted by /u/Maecabre_ [link] [comments]”
“I was online from 11:30am till about 12:35pm trying to get some “lunch” orders around Denver. I didn’t get a single request. I have been an uber driver since 2017. I drove about 35 miles during this time too, going into the indicated busy areas around Denver and south all the way to Littleton. submitted by /u/mamabear5309 [link] [comments]”
“So this happened on a CVS delivery today and I want to know if anyone else has dealt with something like it. I picked up an order that had already been declined by 5 other Dashers before me. Turns out the Red Card kept getting rejected at checkout — looked like it was tied to an age-restricted item (something 21+) and the card just wouldn't clear it. CVS staff confirmed on their end that everything was approved and ready to go, the payment method was the only holdup. Support told me to just”
“Because Doordash blames me for empty shelves, as if I was an employee at the store responsible for stocking shelves, or as if I was a manager at the store responsible for ordering items for the shelves. I am neither of those things. But I get blamed for these other people's job duties. And oftentimes a customer will directly text me in the app chat and ask me to refund the item, but if I actually do that it will be counted against me. So nobody gets a refund anymore. Nobody gets a substituti”
