“I got these wood chips or some sort of dropping right under one basement joist. One picture is the joist.”
“Found exclusively on my ceilings, 90% of the time right next to the ceiling light. There’s a harmless spider in my room thats I’ve seen eating them, so I know its not the same ones I’ve seen repeatedly, they have to be coming from somewhere.”

“I’ve been noticing these bugs flying out of my closet over the past few months. They weren’t there before, but they suddenly started appearing, and I can’t figure out where they’re coming from. I did a deep clean of my closet today but still couldn’t…”
“Chicago, IL. Sorry for the bad pictures, best I could do photographing a small dark object on a white sink. Found on my bathroom sink with no obvious source, looks like droppings so I'm assuming it is. During the evening while I was still very much awake and active, in a span of two hours or so between me entering or looking in my bathroom in my very small apartment. Forgot to take a picture with anything for scale, but it was about 3/4 of a centimeter in size. Wet and left wet reddish/pinki”
“Is this cockroach dropping? A couple of these appeared the day after a big brown cockroach appeared in my kitchen sink belly up still alive but I've killed it, so must be some other ones still lurking around from the drain? Thank you! submitted by /u/Munchie8 [link] [comments]”

“I've seen it on the ceiling, but I've also seen a lot of it in the kitchen drawer on wooden tools. submitted by /u/Particular-Gold9362 [link] [comments]”
“I keep finding these in my new build 5 bed detached house in Oxfordshire UK, between 11pm-6am and I always squash every single one of them I see. I still keep seeing 3-5 new ones pop up every night. I tend to find them in my bedrooms, bathrooms, landing, staircase and occasionally the hallway downstairs, more of them found upstairs though. What are they? I've been told they could either be German, Oriental or Wood cockroaches. I'd never seen a single cockroach in my life until I moved in”
“I took two photos while it was on the ceiling, one of which shows it at its actual size, and one while it was on a black cotton shirt. submitted by /u/Shinuviel [link] [comments]”
“This is Ireland. Right in the far corner of our attic. Oblong ones are around 4-5cm (1.5-2 inch). Looks like blueberries mixed in there too. We did recently have rats in the sewers outside which was rectified with a pipe repair, and these droppings look far larger than a rat could produce. I also do not understand how they could gain access to the attic space anyway. We have heard something scratching around at inconsistent times under where this is but any evidence is entirely localised to this”
“Hi Would like some reassurance. We’re in connecticut. This was found on the ceiling, only the one. Maybe a centimeter in length. I don’t know exactly. I looked at the links provided on this page and feel okay telling myself that it’s a wood roach but I need the reassurance (or the truth) please and thank you. submitted by /u/wakingupmad [link] [comments]”
“I can’t figure out for certain what this is. It reappears every couple days after I clean it out. Can’t really tell where it is falling from. It’s under a window and there is a gap behind that moulding that could potentially be the source. Looks like pieces of ants? submitted by /u/YrMothersMaidenName [link] [comments]”
“Found this in my kitchen. Other lighter drops are just tile scuffs submitted by /u/ImportantEmail [link] [comments]”
“Came home from vacation to this by the door in the kitchen that leads to the deck. submitted by /u/Oh_My_Clem1nt1ne [link] [comments]”
