“2018 Subaru Forrester Wife calls that her car is making a terrible noise. I drive out and sure enough, when she moves it, medium loud metal on metal screech comes from the front driver side. “2004 Toyota Highlander V6 3MZFE have this squealing noise coming from what I think is my driver side rear drum or caliper or pads. It’s hard to hear but very loud in person. It comes and goes and can worsen when I turn or accelerate or brake coming down a hill. I had a grinding noise from the driver side rear brake which was also hot, so I lubricated those slide pins and that noise went away but this came up after a couple of days. It’s no longer hot. “Newly bought Mazda6 started producing this sound about 100-200 km's ago. It has a Landi Renzo LPG system installed, but I believe the injectors are not the cause of the noise.
