“Hello! I am a first time mom looking for some recommendations on wraps for newborns. I had several carriers gifted to me at my baby shower (off registry, but still so grateful to be thought of) that I cannot use until my son is 3 months and 12 pounds. He is currently 9 pounds…”
“Hey all! My husband and I are hoping to try for a baby here in the next couple of months, but I’m running into a problem. I am really struggling to find a prenatal without iron in it that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. All of the articles that are trying to promote prenatals…”

“Anyone use ninni or momi pacifiers these are suppose to be more breast like and no problems to their mouths. Are they worth it ?! submitted by /u/Imaginary-Intern57 [link] [comments]”
“My 9mo usually wears Kirklands, but we were visiting the grandparents for the weekend and only needed a handful of diapers on the trip. My mom bought some Huggies, and what a disaster it was. So many blowouts. So many times the diapers moved off to the side and missed what they were supposed to catch. All three of us were covered in pee for the plane flight home, and that was not fun. As a suburban dad, I'm undoubtedly biased toward Kirkland anything. But in this case, it's pretty clear”
“I’m getting close to my due date and starting to finish up the baby stuff. I’m still trying to decide if a diaper pail is really worth getting. I’ve seen the Momcozy one, Ubbi, and Munchkin, but then I wonder if I even need a proper diaper pail. Or maybe I should just get a small trash can with regular bags and empty it often. For moms who have used one, did you find it useful or did you end up wishing you had just bought a normal trash can? What did you get and how has it worked out for you? &#”
“3 months pregnant and so excited :) looking for some comfy maternity pjs. Comfort is pretty much all I care about rn. I’ve been looking at ekouaer and they have so many different maternity styles. Nightgowns, sets, nursing gowns etc. The nursing ones seem practical since I could still use them after the baby is here, but idk if they’re actually comfy during pregnancy. Has anyone tried them? Which fabric and style did you like most as your bump got bigger? submitted by /u/Pinisher888”
“FTM eyeing the Mina Baie Emmy midi bag as my diaper bag, and overall hearing positive reviews but want to hear from the people that actually didn’t like it and why? submitted by /u/cozysondaymorning [link] [comments]”
“Hi Any recommendations of sunscreen that are safe for the nursing mom to use, not for the baby ? The baby will be in close proximity to me while feeding and I want to make sure the sunscreen isn’t harmful for her. At the same time I don’t like the white ghost sheen - I was using Aveeno . Recommendations of what you have tried and used or recommended by your Pediatrician? FYI : I live in British Columbia , Canada . Thanks submitted by /u/Great_Way_4495 [link] [comments]”
“Not sure if I should tag this is funny or as a rant. I'm expecting my first in March 2027, and a lot of my friends and neighbors have reached out saying that they have a lot of baby stuff they would love to give to me second hand. I am a person that loves all things vintage so I don't mind thrifting. I've been looking secondhand for cute baby clothes so on and so forth. But I also appreciate things that are beautiful, while also being functional. Also financially we live comfortably,”
“Hello my wife is about to be 12 weeks pregnant and said she wants to moisturize to prevent stretch marks. I know they are mostly genetic, but I still want to get her a moisturizer to keep her as comfortable as possible throughout her pregnancy. I also want to get her a pregnancy pillow. She is a side sleeper, but has been rolling onto her back quite a bit in her sleep. So anything that is comfy and supportive for a side sleeper would be great. This her 5th pregnancy after 4 previous losses, so I”
“We use the swaddlers and they're great. No rash, good fit and 99% of the time in stock. Is the nighttime swaddlers version worth it? I've noticed a few times now when baby girl gets those super long stretches of sleep (KNOCK ON WOOD WE GET MORE OF THOSE), her diaper has gotten so full of pee it will leak a little. She's not ready yet to go up a size (already in 5's at 8 months old), isn't having blow outs down her legs like when it's time to go up a size. That's all!”
“The missus is hoping for a new baby carrier. I’m hoping to deliver. She wants one that’s best for getting stuff done around the house? 🤔 Any guys or gals around care to chime in? Thanks in advance, 5 months in and loving every minute, even the difficult ones! submitted by /u/toothtickler [link] [comments]”
“Our one week old seems to be having issues with the Kirkland wipes so we are looking at more water based wipes. Water wipes work well but they are expensive. I saw target has these new biom baby wipes that are water based and wondering if anyone had insight on them? submitted by /u/cantankerous_cow [link] [comments]”
“Hi everyone! I’m expecting baby #2 and I’m looking for recommendations for your favorite tote bag diaper bags. I have a backpack diaper bag from #1 but I’m just not a backpack girl! It also doesn’t have to be a “diaper bag” just a tote bag that is big with lots of pockets, if I need to throw in my own insulated bag that’s fine! submitted by /u/Familiar-Breath5132 [link] [comments]”
“My cousin is having her first baby in November and I am planning to gift her a mom/baby care package along with a jar filled with little notes for her to pull when she needs a pick-me-up. What kinds of words would you want to hear from someone when you are learning to adjust to motherhood? Any recommendations on this are very appreciated! I am not a mom (yet) so postpartum is unfamiliar territory for me Thank you! submitted by /u/Effective-Mix7622 [link] [comments]”

“I had pretty bad diastasis recti from my last child (4 finger gap) that did not close at all before I got pregnant with this one. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on any sort of compression leggings or anything of the sort that they found comfortable, supportive, and not bulky under clothes. Hoping maybe wearing something like this right away might help the gap a little too. submitted by /u/ineedausername84 [link] [comments]”
“I just need everyone’s report. Good or bad. Since my first baby was born I have just been wishing she would take the paci. Feels like a distant dream that would make things easier. So I just need to know, is it ?? submitted by /u/Same_Subject_988 [link] [comments]”
“I know what brand I'm going to be buying but i'm not sure what i should actually be getting. I'm giving birth next month so i'm getting all my last minute stuff together. I'm basically wondering if i need to get like diaper rash cream, miracle balm, regular diaper cream, healing ointment, and Face cream. I know for sure I obviously have to get the shampoo baby wash and the lotion but i don't know about all the other stuff. Help please:) submitted by /u/Secret-”

“New mamas, Did you actually use one? Or did you make do with your nightstand and a bassinet? Lol. I feel there is so much influence to consume on social media! I am wondering if it truly is necessary to get one of those rolling carts for beside the bed. Signed, A soon to be mama💛😊 submitted by /u/Terra-Perspective [link] [comments]”
“I’m 28 weeks pregnant and trying to finish our registry before I start overthinking every single baby item. Pacifiers seemed like they should be an easy decision. I thought I would just buy a couple and move on, but then I started looking and found MAM, Philips Avent, BIBS, NUK, Dr. Brown’s, different nipple shapes, and about a million reviews insisting that each one was the only pacifier their baby would accept. A mom in my prenatal group also recommended the Moonkie silicone pacifier because o”
“Hi everyone! I’m currently 16 weeks and we just started a baby registry and deciding what kinds of baby things we want and we’re kinda leaning towards cloth diapers and washcloths. I’m just wondering what others are using/doing? What brands of diapers do you recommend? How many should we register for? How often do you wash them? And washcloths, how many do we need? How do you wash all of it, do I need different laundry soap than plain Tide? If baby girl just had a pee diaper do you just wipe wit”

“My husband doesn't think Kirkland diapers are softer enough, I think they are fine. We used a scented Pampers pack while visiting family once and she got awful rash. Anyone have thoughts on what's a good unscented brand that's softer than Kirkland but still lower cost? Not making that Coterie money unfortunately. submitted by /u/TatamiBouch [link] [comments]”
“So far I’ve received the babylist welcome box and it was a really great value. There were a few discount cards in there for free items just pay shipping (muslin swaddle, non-alcoholic toasting beverage, formula) and I got all those as well. Where else can we go to sign up for legitimate free things for mom or baby? I’m fine with paying shipping. submitted by /u/alexandrap21 [link] [comments]”

I had several carriers gifted to me at my baby shower (off registry, but still so grateful to be thought of) that I cannot use until my son is 3 months and 12 pounds. He is currently 9 pounds and 4 ounces but only 2.5 weeks old so for now all the carriers are collecting dust. However, I need to be able to get things done around the house for my own sanity. “I feel like I’m going insane. I’m due in 4 months and am switching items on my registry all the time. I do research, pick some bottles I think would work then I get a ton of videos on why they are bad. Diapers and wipes- I pick some and say okay cool then I read all these problems and chemicals in them and all these horrible things. I have to be honest, I was just going to use whatever brand people give at my shower! Also my in law is also pregnant and is very granola. I’m not shaming what she t”
“FTM here! I’m due in a little over 12 weeks and in the weeds finalizing my baby showerbregistry. I sent the link to my sister (who has 3 kids) and she laughed and said it was terrible and I have no clue what I’m in for. She’s not the most helpful person, so I figured I’d post here asking for help. What are registry must-haves? Any specific products I should look into? I know she mentioned getting a car seat that swivels so it’s easier to get the baby in and out. But I was considering a completel”

“Pregnant with our second and I pretty much have everything already from our first, but I absolutely hated our high chair. It was so bulky and insanely difficult to clean so I plan on getting a different one. Appreciate any recs of high chairs that are easy to clean. I had an electric pump with my first, but it wasn’t portable (meaning I wasn’t able to walk around the house wearing it because it required being plugged into an outlet). I’m wondering if there’s some good portable ones out there. I’”
“FTM here and already deep in registry overwhelm. I swear every baby item has 500 opinions attached to it. Everyone says I need a diaper pail, but then I read reviews saying they still smell and people end up spending a ton on refill bags anyway. My siL told me she regretted getting the Diaper Genie ‘cause she felt like she was constantly buying those refill things thou it works well for odor control. That sent me down a rabbit hole trying to figure out if I even need a real diaper pail or if I&#”
“Hi! I hope everyone is doing great. I would love some advice on which baby carrier to go for. My LO has just outgrown the Baby Bjorn mini carrier, so now I need to decide on which carrier to go for next. If you’ve used the Baby Bjorn Harmony or the Mabe Monarch I would really really appreciate your insights! What did you like or not like? (Other brand recs welcome, as well!) “I’m 17 weeks and wanting to go ahead and buy a pregnancy pillow. I’m trying to decide if the bbhugme is worth the $200+ splurge, or if a basic body pillow from Target or somewhere similar is basically the same. Another option between these two I’m considering is the Coop body pillow that’s $99. Does anyone have experience that they’d be willing to share to help me make my decision? If the bbhugme is really that much better, then I’m fine spending the money on it, but want to make sure I’m not ov”
“FTD here on a tight budget looking for a video baby monitor. Only have one kiddo so a single camera setup is enough. Trying to stay under $100 and I've been comparing a few options around the price, including Goodbaby, iFamily, VTech, HelloBaby, BabySense, Comfyer. Anyone actually happy with one of these? Wanted to figure out what's worth buying and what's just a waste of junk. submitted by /u/Domenorange [link] [comments]”
“Curious to hear other people's takes on this and experiences. My wife and I are expecting our first in December. As I'm sure is common with all new/soon-to-be parents, we have things we plan on doing and things we plan on avoiding. We know not everything will stick and we're almost certainly going to have some unrealistic goals. With that being said, overall we really like the Montessori-style of playing, low stimulation activities, not having a ton of toys out, and having simple yet”
“I would like to splurge on a few items for myself. I am specifically looking for material items NOT services. Already have cleaning/cooking/night nurse etc lined up. I would like specific brand recommendations too. For example a specific PJ, nursing bra, body oil brand that you felt was worth the splurge. Thank you!!! submitted by /u/akmdny [link] [comments]”

“Hey to all the dads out there! My wife is currently 17 weeks pregnant with our daughter and we could not be more excited! But I do have a question about the monitoring socks, do you all feel like they are good or bad? I’ve heard from people that they can just cause anxiety by giving a constant stream of information where every little change can cause scares when in reality everything is fine. But I have also heard they are a great tool to monitor safety and health. I’m just confused as I’m on th”
“Looking for an affordable diaper brand that doesn’t leave pee on my babies skin. Unfortunately we have been using parents choice for the price and have noticed her yeast rashes are coming from them leaving her skin visibly wet. Also wondering for those that use Kirkland brand, have you noticed any wetness on your babies skin? Thinking of trying those since you get so much for the price. “what fabric actually worked for you? I keep hearing cotton is best, but I’ve also seen people mention bamboo, silk, linen, and merino wool. I don’t want to waste money buying every option. “My LO is starting to absolutely lose it during diaper changes and I'm pretty sure it's the cold wipe shock, especially now that the weather is turning. I looked into getting a wipe warmer but so many reviews say they dry out the top wipes, turn them brown, or get moldy inside. That grosses me out honestly. My mom suggested just using a warm washcloth but the idea of running to the bathroom to get the water temp right while holding a screaming, half-naked baby sounds even worse. By the ti”
“We have a 9 week old and had been using Huggies Snugglers. They were great for us - but this most recent box they are noticeably cheaper quality. I’ve seen many posts and reviews saying they were redesigned and are bad now. We tried them anyway and sure enough are also experiencing leaks and blow outs thanks to the extremely cheap elastic on the leg holes (it may as well not even be there). We need a new brand but as I researched pampers and Millie Moon, I’m also seeing most recent reviews sayin”
“Hi! So for my last two babies I was wearing these very basic H&M non wired cotton nursing bras that I think came in a 4 pack. All but one is worn through and more expecting #3. I am really struggling to find a prenatal without iron in it that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.
