“My LO is currently 14 pounds at 11 weeks old. Our bassinet has a weight limit of 20 pounds. That weight is still a bit away but I can’t help but think ahead. I’m really not ready to move him into his nursery on his…”
“My daughter is currently 7.5 months and we’ve been trying to get the doc band since mid July. Due to insurance requirements and needing to go through early intervention for PT (which we haven’t started yet), she most likely will be getting her helmet between 8-8.5 months. She has moderate to severe plagiochephaly. If you had a baby who had gotten their doc band at an older age, I’d like to know how things turned out. TIA. submitted by /u/BAMintheBurbs [link] [comments]”
“Help! I'm trying to decide which stroller would be best for a 4 year old and newborn. I'm due in the beginning of December and my daughter turns 4 in October. I definitely want a stroller that I can have both of them in..so far I've looked at Momcozy and Zoe. Are there any other tried and true brands that moms in similar situations have? submitted by /u/Tiny-Distribution352 [link] [comments]”
“Ok, I know you’re not supposed to add a mattress to the pack n play because of potential gaps on the edges. But the “pad” that comes with it is hard as a rock lol. Right now my baby (11w) is still in the bassinet and will probably stay there for another month or so, but he’s quickly outgrowing it. I’m not sure I’m ready to move him to his own room yet, but it seems wasteful to buy a mini crib for our room to use for such a short amount of time. Obviously I want baby to be as safe as possible! I”
“I’ve been planning on getting the babybay bassinet with mattress and sheets, but was curious if anyone has used it and had thoughts on why I should or shouldn’t buy? I liked this option because, from reviews and specs, it seems to be really sturdy, made from solid beech instead of polyester fabric, and has nontoxic finishes. The mattress is OEKO-TEX standard 100. I won’t be focusing so heavily on only non toxic for the babies entire life, but it seems worth it when he is so young. Which leads me”
“We haven’t spent the night anywhere since last Christmas, and then we only did it a handful of times. At the time, baby was 3.5 months old and we brought her bassinet with us. She’s long since outgrown that and as her sleep is quite frankly very bad still at 12 months, we just haven’t done any sleepovers anywhere as I never feel that risking an even worse sleep is a choice I want to make. The holidays are going to come up quickly so I know we’ll likely have to spend nights somewhere. At that poi”
“Baby girls first birthday is coming up and I’d love to know if any things that your one year old loves!!! I have a budget of $200-300 that I’ll be staying under! We thought about a drivable car/truck but she’s just too little and it’ll be cold soon so nowhere to ride it! TIA<3 I’d love it to be something she can learn from in some way/ that can grow with her for a bit but wanna hear all suggestions! submitted by /u/Vivid_Resolve2394 [link] [comments]”
“FTM and currently 34 weeks pregnant. I bought a car seat from target over the weekend. It was just delivered, and with it came the box attached. I'm confused because I've never looked at the Similac website or anything. Has anyone gotten something like this out of no where? It's from Abbott Nutrition, and it came with coupons that have my name and some sort of customer/rewards number but like I said, I've never signed up with them. Just trying to see if this is legit! I planned o”

We currently have the Graco Next2Grow stroller set up and we HATE IT. The seat is soooo shallow. My daughter cant even fit in the seat without sliding off. So we are looking for any and all recommendations. Ideally, we would be able to keep what we have and buy different seats if Graco offers? But are we going to be limited with the seat de”
“I’m 36w pregnant now. We initially planned to just use our pack n play for sleep, but recently decided we wanted to get a bassinet after all. I started browsing FB Marketplace for a good deals on a reputable brand last week. I mentioned this to my in-laws and my husband’s aunt decided to generously buy us one off Amazon. She and my in laws were really excited to surprise us, which is sweet. The issue is it appears to be a white-label unknown Amazon brand… Pudult Bedside Crib . Not something I’d”
“My LO has been sleeping in a pack n play with a bassinet attachment since she was a few days old. We have never used a mattress (other than what comes with it) or fitted sheet and she has slept just fine. She is now almost 6 months and we recently started a nanny share with a family who has an almost 8 month old. When my LO is at their house, we utilize their pack n play with bassinet attachment but they use a thin mattress with a fitted sheet in it. It fits snuggly and she sleeps fine while in”
“Baby girl is 4 months and up until this point I’ve only been taking her to the doctors and outside on walks in the stroller. Now that she’s seeing better I’d like to start taking her places like the aquarium, the zoo, etc. Do you find it better to take babies this age in the stroller? Or in a body carrier? Any recs on the carrier if that’s the case? submitted by /u/virgo4728 [link] [comments]”
“Hey guys. I’m a FTM from southern most part of canada, so winters aren’t horrible and tend to be on milder side. But there are colder snowier days. By the time it gets cold my 6 month old will be 8 going on 9 months. What gear should we get her because I know it’s only thin layers in the car, but for walks and stuff? Like would I just be covering her with a blanket more often than not? Sorry if this sound silly I just dont want to overdo things lol submitted by /u/Weak_Independence39”
“Alright, I'm calling moms with babies who love their car seat when NOT strapped in. My daughter loves to sit in her car seat and watch whatever is on tv, it is on top of a tote and she climbs up to sit in it. I've also noticed that she likes being squeezed so I'm wondering cause I'm not always gonna have the ability to let her just sit in her car seat. She's gonna end up getting too big so I'm wondering if anyone had the same thing happened to them and what you transferre”
“Our almost 3 month old turns herself like a clock in the bassinet. She gets sideways and then her head and feet are touching either side of the bassinet. My worry is her legs are fairly strong and I dont want her head getting bonked when she pushes off the side in her sleep. Im thinking its time to move her out of it but wanted to hear what other people did/think. submitted by /u/sampai89 [link] [comments]”
“This feels like such a stupid question and maybe I'm overthinking it, but I'm worried about the mattress in a pack n play not laying completely flat. My baby is almost 5 months old, and started rolling, so we have to move her out of her bassinet and into something else. I was planning to use the pack n play (Graco simple solutions) as a crib in our bedroom because I'm not ready to move her to her own room yet. I set up the pack n play, and the mattress doesn't lay completely flat”
“My 3 year old still loves the carrier and prefers it to the pram. Her older brother, however, refused the carrier from 14 months. I don't mind the closeness I still get with her, just wondering :) submitted by /u/Amazed4life111 [link] [comments]”
“I got a brand new sleep walker (sleep sack with leg holes) from Kyte baby for 15$. It's beautiful. It's a little big for my son though, and it's getting cold fast. Before I invest in quality sleepwear for warmth, why would someone choose a sleep walker over a sleep sack, or vis versa. Does it really matter/make a difference? Or is it simply just aesthetic/personal taste? submitted by /u/IWish4n4WasFree [link] [comments]”
“My baby girl will be 7 months old in December, and my family always asks for Christmas gift lists so now I’ve got to make one for myself, AND one for my baby!! What would be some good things for a 7 month old? submitted by /u/Think_Coat6479 [link] [comments]”
“Eternal debate coming: double stroller vs wagon? We have 2 boys (3.5 & 1.5) and at a point where we find the Uppababy Vista v2 a bit bulky and not necessarily practical or very maneuverable when the 2 seats are on. The second seat has a lower weight limit, and sits after the front wheels so it adds a lot of weight that isn't balanced very well. Now, we have a Costco wagon. Not much features, but it does the job and we already used it for a few outings. I'd like a fancier one, a push-”
“Hi all, FTM to a 14 month old. As we gear down from summer I’ve started looking at winter gear options. She’s not walking but is cruising and crawling with walking right around the corner. What is your favourite snowsuit set up for this age and why? I’ve seen a mix of reviews of bunting suits (fleece and shell) vs a preference for one pieces like Jan and Jul/Stonz. Also looking for good boot recommendations for cruisers/early walkers. She will be in daycare so outdoor play will be happening. It”
“I don’t have the bassinet attachment for my stroller and it’s sold out everywhere! (Nuna mixx) baby girl is too small for the lay flat option on the stroller but I really want to start taking daily walks. Is it ok to do 40 min walks in the car seat? submitted by /u/Lost_Environment_100 [link] [comments]”
“That are NOT wraps? My sister needs a carrier because her baby can’t be put down butttttt she refuses a wrap. Any recommendation or is she SOL? Her baby is 6.8lbs submitted by /u/FoldNo1622 [link] [comments]”
“Has anyone switched from a crib to a pack and play, rather than the other way around? My almost 6-month old has been in a mini crib (from a bassinet) since he started rolling at 12 weeks, but he keeps hurting himself on the bars. Everything I’ve read indicates that babies eventually learn to navigate the space but it’s been almost 3 months and he’s obviously only going to get bigger. He tends to roll around to self soothe so he winds up hitting his head on the crib and fully waking up. Could a p”
“Thinking about getting a carrier with hip seat for my soon to be one year old, as she is killing my back to just be sat in a regular sling but obviously still wants to be held. I've been looking at a few second hand options on vinted and now asking for recommendations if any of you have used one as well? submitted by /u/_smallbun_ [link] [comments]”

“We currently use a lightweight stroller (Uppababy Minu Duo), so I’m hoping for something that still feels relatively easy to push and maneuver rather than dragging around a huge heavy wagon. Main use would be: Long walks Parks + zoo trips Some winter use Easy to fold/load into the car Easy to buckle the kids in.. especially my younger one who doesn’t always want to stay seated Ideally something we can use for another few years Budget is around $400–500 max , but I’m totally open to open-box or u”
“Anyone tried the Taking Cara Babies Jacky? My baby hates being swaddled so we’ve been using a sleep sack since she got home from the hospital. Curious if anyone’s tried the Jacky and your opinion of it! submitted by /u/Relevant_Lynx_5117 [link] [comments]”
“Hi! Spent an hour installing and trying to figure out the Evenflo 360 Slim today. It fits so weirdly around my babies thighs/ crotch. I’ve watched videos and somewhat figured it out? (I will most likely go and get it checked). The regular 360 Revolve was very simple to install and fits her comfortably. This one is such a pain but I love the functionality and it fits well in my husband’s sedan (vs the regular in my SUV). One nuanced question that’s maybe silly: are the pads at the shoulders and t”

“We live on a large property and sometimes my LO will take a nap in their travel bassinet or hang in the playpen in the shade while I'm working nearby in the field. Are there any baby monitors where both the camera and monitor are rechargable? Or do any cameras exist that work with a USB plug so I can plug it into a battery bank? submitted by /u/namaste217 [link] [comments]”
“Our baby is 10 months right now but my sister said I should start making a registry for his first birthday. We'll take anything, but to avoid just getting a million toys and outfits im looking for actual useful things that he won't throw or outgrow in 2 minutes. Obviously wont know where he'll be at developmentally but right now he pulls himself up, walks along furniture, climbs anything he can. Says a couple words like mama Dada and dog. What is something your little one loved or wa”

“Looking for recommendations on baby carriers for chunky babies! My son is 4 months old, and a total Velcro baby, therefore baby wearing is essential so I can get things done. My handsome chunk is 20lbs and growing like a weed! That being said, my back is killing me (all of the time) but more so when using my current carrier. It was gifted to me, it is non “name brand” and did the trick until he weighed about 15lbs lol. Hoping someone else has experienced the same and found the holy grail of carr”
“Hello! We just purchased the Delta Children Lee Portable Folding Mini Crib because our LO has outgrown the bassinet at 3 months and we're not ready to move him into the nursery. I'm looking for a mattress that's better than what comes with it but the manual states to use a mattress "not more than 2" thick" but they all seem to be 3", even the Delta Children brand. Has anyone who used this mini crib seen this discrepancy? We're looking at the Delta Children Twi”
“Hello, my baby is 4 month olds. Currently has good head support, he hates my momcozy me facing carrier now that he can see. I wanted to get a front facing one( not anything expensive or famcy as i wouldn't be using it everyday) Can someone suggest me one. Thankyou submitted by /u/sheriyamonee [link] [comments]”
“I have the Nuna & never got the bassinet because it’s so expensive. I’ve been strolling my son around in the car seat but I noticed he really doesn’t like the car seat and I don’t blame him. Is it worth it to get the bassinet attachment so I can go on walks ? submitted by /u/SandwichDependent199 [link] [comments]”
“We have a second kid on the way. My daughter will be 3 when the newborn is here. My wife wants to get a stroller wagon for outings to the zoo or other times where she could take the kids out on her own while I'm at work. Times where there will be too much walking for the 3 year old. She's looking at a evenflow brand one. I haven't seen these things in person. But they don't seem that big. Are they better than like a double stroller? They aren't cheap, so I just worry about bu”
“Hi! I need your best recommendations on a baby monitor that has the option to use the handheld monitor and view it from my phone when I leave the house. Does that exist? I know a lot of people avoid Wi-Fi operated cameras for security reasons, and I honestly like that, but I’d like to have the option to if I needed for when I leave the house, and then strictly use the in house monitor for while I’m at home. Does anyone know a camera like this? My boys stay with a babysitter for a few hours here”
“My baby is 14mo and getting close to outgrowing the Shyft Dualride we’ve had since birth (it is the best thing ever!!) So I’m looking at getting a convertible car seat (probably a 3-in-1 or 4-in-1 rotating) for the next stage. (We live in an area with basically zero public transportation so cars are pretty much the only way to get around.) The thing is, LO is transported in several different vehicles. My car for day to day errands and trips; my husband’s car for weekend outings and things we do”
“My 4 mo old (3 adjusted) was ONLY napping as contact naps and I’m on day 3 of multiple 2 hour stretches in her bassinet using this dang Merlin sleep suit! We joke that there is a little wizard inside putting babies to sleep! Just a shoutout to the Merlin! I was so hesitant to buy another sleep suit but even if I get a month of these naps it’s worth it! Curious what you discovered that helped your LO nap better? submitted by /u/Ladypixxel [link] [comments]”
“Baby boy turned 1.5 years old, started walking and since walking, he’s been refusing his stroller. We’re debating to get him a trike, a wiggle car, or a scooter wagon, or balance bike.. any suggestions? submitted by /u/GroundbreakingCap368 [link] [comments]”
“While buying for baby I keep seeing so much marketing and recommendations for various sleep machines, and I am really curious on other parents’ thoughts on this! Are there any parents out there that just play white noise/nature sounds/etc. off their phone or through a blue tooth speaker? Is there a reason, while room sharing, that I shouldn’t just use my Bluetooth speaker? For those of you who have opted for a separate sound machine like the hatch, what makes it “special” enough to buy a separat”
“He always sees me pushing the stroller, he is 18 months and we went to a birthday party, the birthday girl had strollers and my son loved playing with them so I looked on amazon to get him one cause he keeps trying to push my stroller at home lol. “We are first time parents and are trying to plan ahead for our little one’s 1st Birthday (in December) and Christmas . What are some things you have on your baby’s wishlist for this age group that they ~actually~ play with? My goal is to have Montessori-style, educational, imaginative, and open ended toys in the house that can be passed down to future children. I’d like to make a list to give to family as ideas. submitted by /u/highereducation314 [link] [comments]”
“My 5mo old baby uses the snoo (unswaddled). He is getting to the point where his hands and head are touching the net of the snoo. We went on a weekend beach trip and used a pack n play. Surprisingly he did amazing and only woke up once for his MOTN feed at 4am. In the pack n play my baby was moving all over the place. At 4am, I saw that he had moved 90 degrees from where we placed him lol. Husband and I thought maybe this is a sign to transition him from the snoo (smaller bassinet). Maybe he lik”
“FTM here about to deliver later this week. Can anyone recommend a good sound machine or toy? Or let me know if that’s a waste. I bought the Hatch Baby and could NOT get it to connect to my WiFi, but I also didn’t realize it’s subscription based. Ideally would like a sound machine/toy that does not require an app, is portable, and has a good variety of built in options. I realize I shouldn’t leave a stuffed animal in a crib but I think my parents got me a glow worm sound machine toy when I was li”
“My wife is due in November and we live in New York, so it'll be cold. We have a stroller with a bassinet attachment which we imagine we'll use for the first 6 months or so. We'll take her around the neighborhood a lot in the bassinet and a lot of the time she'll be sleeping. I still don't quite understand how to keep the baby warm in the bassinet attachment. I can't find useful details on the material and how it does with spills, etc. Anyone have this one in the linen/fabric option and liking it? Thank you so much! “Need some advice. Our baby will be 2 weeks tomorrow. She’s fairly small, born at 6 lb 10 oz and 19”. We were gifted the Chicco Keyfit 30 car seat, and even with the infant insert, it seems like her head really has a lot of room to flop around in there. I just assumed it was because she was small (though the pads are rated from 4 lb to 11 lb), but my friend just a similar-sized baby (actually a few oz smaller) and has the Uppababy Mesa, and it looks like it supports her baby’s head WAY better. “Hello! We are taking our will-be 7 month old on a 13-hour road trip next week. We will be staying at a hotel for 3 days/2 nights. We will be leaving right around bed time so she hopefully sleeps most of the way there, and will be leaving to come back around nap time. What did you bring that was a life saver and what ended up not being used? We are debating bringing her bottle warmer and sterilizer (will be hand washing in the hotel room). I am going crazy with overthinking what to bring because”
“Does anyone have any recommendations for earplugs or other noise cancelling solutions for daytime sleep? The office block directly below our flat has decided that now is the perfect time for renovations. The noise from the intermittent drilling/jackhammer is 40-80 db in the bedroom, which means I can't sleep during the day.
