“I recently got this wool rugby sweater, but the collar is a bit yellowed. I was thinking of cleaning it with some Oxiclean, but I’m not sure how I can protect the wool from absorbing it as well. Or is there anything else I can…”

“This Tshirt is brand new, used just twice in 6 months and then it developed these black marks while stored in wardrobe. I dunno how these marks got on it. Is it fungal or something that developed due to moisture? Any advice to clean these spots is appreciated. Cheers! submitted by /u/DaredevilPanda22 [link] [comments]”

“This leather collar on my favourite denim jacket has picked up some sweat stains over the last year or so, to the point where I can’t even wear it anymore. I’ve tried putting it in the wash, I’ve tried saddle soap and conditioner, I’ve even gone at it with a wire suede brush (this had the most success but it’s still unwearable and I don’t want to damage the leather too much). If anyone has any idea how I should go about cleaning this, I’d be very grateful. Thanks! submitted by /u/Hum”

“White underarm stains from my deodorant started to build up and weren't being fully removed with regular washes, so I was advised to use a Spray N Wash stain remover. I triple checked that it was safe for colors and used it according to the instructions (spray on stains and let sit for 5min, then rub in and wash), and they came out like this😭😭I'm hoping it's not a bleach stain, it looks similar to the deodorant stains just larger and brighter. Idk, is there anything I can do at all”

“I’m a mobile personal trainer and my material dumbbells keep getting these streaks on it and I don’t know how to get it off, I’ve tried soaking them and wiping them a bunch but nothing. I think they’re from hitting my other hex rubber dumbbells while driving cause I’m not sure what else it could be. Any ideas would be helpful! “Has anyone had luck with taking sweat plus self tanner out of satin polyester ? I found a dress I wanna buy on Poshmark but it has stains under the armpit area and it looks to be sweat and self tanner. The material is satin polyester. I’m wondering if a dry cleaner is able to remove it? It’s like a cream ivory color material so don’t think bleach would help as it might make it yellow?? Idk I don’t want to waste $200 if it doesn’t come out but maybe will risk it submitted by /u/chocol”

“These stains keep coming up over and over, only on my toddlers clothes (which are often washed with my clothes), and I don't notice them before I wash the clothes. I've realized some of them I've probably set by putting the clothes in the dryer, but any ideas what it could be? They also are only on her "home" clothes, and never noticeable on her daycare clothes or cute dresses for going out. I'm going crazy trying different treatments, please help! Edit: I use tide liqu”

“Self explanotory. The loose end of my belt touched the rim of a public urinal. Kinda grossed out so took off my belt immediately. How can I clean my belt? “I just recently realized that separating lights and darks really does make a difference 🫪 Since washing all my lights/whites though I’m noticing that brand new, spanking white towels and shirts come out dirtier than when I put them in. “I washed this sweater, let air dry and then popped into tumble dryer for 10 mins to soften. When I took it out to wear it, this stain was all down the right arm, it’s like ink but I’m not sure where from. It was expensive and I want to remove it quickly, any suggestions please? “Hi all, I was involved in an accident whilst abroad and ended up getting spots of blood on my new white trousers. I got them washed around 2 days after the incident, which in hindsight wasn’t the best thing to do as it seems it’s set the stains in place. I want to ask, is there any way I could remove the stains at home? The day of the incident was the first time I wore them so ideally I don’t want to throw them away 🥺 They’re 100% cotton. It’s been around 2 months since the accident but I threw”
