“So, what's downloadable right now is a version from July 7, it's pretty old but yes it's functional. I think I got a bit ahead of myself in putting the Ubimate site out in these threads, as we're still working on getting it ready for launch next month. But to be completely…”
“How about projects? I had all of my business stuff and all of my meditation practice stuff set up in custom GPTs for years. But projects, and now Codex, seem to work better now. They aren't even updating custom gpt's anymore it seems. It doesn't have all of the tool calls, like…”
“That's incorrect. Still maintained, just prioritizing stability and slow drip of improvements. Latest release was 2 weeks ago”
Users are expressing frustration and confusion regarding recent changes to the Johnny Decimal system's website and content delivery. Many find the new navigation less intuitive, and some feel core resources have been paywalled or made difficult to access. There's a sense of disappointment among long-time users.

“yes it's still a purely staging website (we're working on it), but there's the old version with the old binaries actually downloadable at the main address: https://ubimate.com just keep in mind they were beta stuff, but they do give an decent idea of the product overall”
“Yeah is a hard one. Went to download but it said wrong link https://github.com/ubimate/ubimate-app/releases And When i went to put my email it said that didnt work.”

“I think that should be okay to keep that. I'm a little hesitant about omnisearch, as it can cause you to rely on it more and less on the native way of finding notes through links and such. One of the powerful things is to have the connections between notes and let that be how you find things. By using a powerful search engine, you're potentially kind of bypassing that and not as much forced/motivated to create good notes with links and such.”
“It created about 8600 cards. I have to go through them obviously, but I'm surprised it was able to actually do it. Took about 16 hours Tho after I fixed something that was unnecessarily intensive, the last half of the book took only 4 hours. So it was probably more of an 8 hour task if I knew how to use it better. submitted by /u/GreattFriend [link] [comments]”
“Stumbled across this last week and it’s been great but after yesterday it no longer works. I can’t scroll down on any pages to do anything anymore on leaf green.”
“[Trello] ★ 1/5 (v2026.16) — Apparently if you don’t pay, it’s trash now? Idk. I’m looking at it and seemingly can’t do things I could do before even though I’ve never paid. I guess I’ll just go back to Obsidian Vault or something.”
“Nope it's not working. I'm missing most of the configuration options (not visible anymore) and highlighting is working a bit sketchy.”
“No its not just as good. Its specifically a dumbed down version of the desktop Excel with less functionality”
“Sounds like they just unlisted the courses rather than actually taking them down, happens more than you'd think on these platforms. If the URL structure is predictable you could try fuzzing the module name with a wordlist of common tech terms, might turn up some stuff they left behind. Just check your company's policy before poking around too much, some places get weird about that even if it's technically part of your access tier”
“It says the web version is free, but when I open the slides in the web version it's view-only 😮💨 But like I said, it's a program that I haven't had anything to do with in over a decade. I'm just frustrated that it wasn't readily available information and took a significant amount of clicking around to figure out.”
“Scholar was a good tool for academic purposes. There was a link to it in theleft sidebar. Is it gone? Why? submitted by /u/Tarr_74 [link] [comments]”
“Re: the free account - you are probably right. The workbook used to be chargeable separately to the Life Admin System, but it isn't now. So technically, yes, you have to be a purchaser of something to get that for free. That being said, what was chargeable before (the Life Admin System, the Small Business System, etc) is still chargeable. Nothing that was freely available before has been paywalled. Edit: typo”
“Yes, this. The website has been revamped but what was free before is still free; what was paid for is still paid for. The workbook Johnny wrote to support the course has been made available as free now - once was paid for.”
“As far as I can tell, the resources they're charging for have always been paywalled. The core documentation (including "Advanced Concepts") and workbook are still free, they just consolidated content and removed the page numbering. They've always charged for the workshops.”
“CORRECTION: Mea culpa... The experience is far worse, but the content is (at least mostly) still accessible. If you create an account, you can still access much of the previously free content. Don't go to https://johnnydecimal.com/sign-up like I did. Instead, go to https://johnnydecimal.com/homepage where you can enter your email to get free access to the workbook. It's very convoluted to access (which is why I initially thought the content had been removed), and you do have to create an”
