“tx resident my primary was verified july 7 and submitted all secondaries end of july/early august and the only II i got was TCOM and UIW (not tmdsas and submitted late september), my stats are good for MD so I’m getting concerned”

“For those who went through the process already or currently in med school - is this an accurate timeline ? Please alter whatever needs correction 05/27 - AMCAS opens, submit primary 06/27- Verification, applications reaching schools late June 06-07/27 - Secondaries come, submit…”

“What does this mean? I submitted my secondary within 2 weeks (submitted on July 6, received on June 30). Maybe it's because I'm a Canadian applicant? My MCAT was a 520, my GPA was a 3.93, and I think my secondaries were fine?”

Applicants report confusion and stress over the lack of centralized tracking for AMCAS secondary application deadlines, leading to missed opportunities and rushed submissions. Users note that schools using the same secondary platform should integrate it with AMCAS for better coordination.

“I know it’s still early in the cycle for interviews and it’s different for every person but- I got verified mid July and almost all my secondaries were complete from mid July through late August with a few left I’m still struggling to get through right now, and I’m getting really stressed that nearly all my in state schools have started sending IIs already :( i applied broadly, over 40 schools. I keep hearing schools may prioritize reviewing high stats applicants (im 52x and 3.9+), but I’m not h”

“Hi everyone! I was verified on August 6th, and over the two weeks following verification, most of my secondaries came in, which I have been chipping away at since then. However, there are some schools that I haven't received secondaries from (some of which are dream schools, haha) and am wondering if the radio silence means that my application is considered DOA by those schools, or if they are still screening my primary. Thanks everyone! And best of luck to all of us! submitted by &#32”

“I hope I’m not being neurotic, but I submitted my application 7 weeks ago on July 9th and my application is still not “Under Review.” Is anyone in the same boat? I had heard verification takes 4-6 weeks, so I am beginning to get a little stressed. submitted by /u/Colms94 [link] [comments]”

“I submitted my primary in May then secondaries in mid June to the beginning of July. I only have one interview right now from tmdsas. Is that normal? I’m starting to see people who applied after me get interviews 😀 submitted by /u/Diligent-Capital4219 [link] [comments]”

“People keep saying to not stress because interviews can be sent out through December, but like I’m still confused on the process. So answer me this: how come someone that submitted a secondary August has an interview already from a school I submitted end of June. Like surely that means they didn’t like my application right?! Or what then? I’m confused. submitted by /u/StrainLow9928 [link] [comments]”

“I submitted my AMCAS application on June 30, and I'm not verified yet. I know they said it could take 6-8 weeks, but I'm just wondering who out there has recently been verified & what day you submitted? submitted by /u/sarahbear111 [link] [comments]”

“So I know the typical answer to worrying about interviews is “don’t worry until Thanksgiving”. But that’s a blanket response for anyone who submitted whenever. My question is about people who submitted primaries day 1, were verified 1st batch, got 1st batch secondaries, and had a fast submission turn around. Should we worry about interviews earlier than Thanksgiving? I would hazard to reason if you received and completed a secondary for most schools very early and don’t get an II in their first”

“Submitted evening of 6/22 and just got verified. I thought I was on track to be verified like Tuesday of next week, so hopefully verification is ramping up submitted by /u/Random-Nothing-9775 [link] [comments]”

“I’ve noticed that a bunch of school use the same platform for secondaries. At this point why not just integrate it on AMCAS submitted by /u/kirveyre [link] [comments]”
