“Hello everyone, My MX5 (2019 ND) won’t seem to start, it “ticks” as if it wants too however there is no successful start. I’m no expert, just a car lover - my dad who knows much more than me recognised it may be a battery issue? Initially I thought it was a dead key fob, so I’ve…”

“i drive a 2012 mitsubishi eclipse gs, just passed 51k miles on it. today when i got off work i went to start it and it chugged but it didn't want to actually start the first time. i took the key out and tried to start it again, chugged a little bit more and then started real weakly. i let it warm up before driving home and it was fine the rest of the way, everything worked and sounded fine. usually when i start my car, it takes exactly 4 chugs and then it ignites and starts. sounds the exact”

“2015 Suzuki Ertiga GLX AT I'm not sure what type of engine it is but the specs said 'Powered by a 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine with 95 horsepower and 130 Nm of torque' So basically this issue started when our engines temperature was really out of control. It would basically overheat and it happened maybe 3 to 4 times at one point my mom was on the way to work and the engine started smoking and we decided just not to use the car ever since and we would get it repaired instead. We also”
“I have a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500. When I put the key in the ignition it says “damaged key.” If I wiggle it around or take it out and try again a few times it’ll eventually work and the truck will start and it’ll run fine. None of the buttons on the fob work, and if you start it, go somewhere, park it, leave the key in the ignition, and then come back and turn the key to start it again it’ll work fine. You only have that issue once you take the key out of the ignition and then put it back and try to”

Its like a squeaking chirp is the best way I can describe it. Heard in video attached. Only does it after I've driven the car. Even if I wait for the car to get up to temp before driving, it only does it after its driven a bit. Any input on what It might be helps, thanks! Car is at about 103,000 miles. submitted by /u/Beholdenhalo [link] &”
