I have sensitive ears and i would like to keep my hearing as good as i can but the problem i have currently is i have a miller classic series auto darkening 2x2 hood. Its a great hood, but whenever i try to put earmuffs on (3M pro-grade) they dont fit. What would be your recommendation? Edit: i dont like the feeling of earplugs and they make my head hurt because i have small ear canals. submitte”

“I started welding school a few weeks ago, and I see y'all recommending wearing a respirator constantly. What body and filter medium is the go to? I just got out of class where a welded a good amount of FCWG and my throat is burning and I feel kinda nauseous. The respirator I have won't really fit underneath my hood. (Sentinel A60 if it matters). Ideally, I'd like to do this as a job for years to come, and I'd prefer not to die of lung cancer or something. Thanks for any recommend”

We’ve had a visit from the supplier parweld and he says he only gets good feedback. I think this mask brilliant in every way except being able to see the welding clearly because you’ve to many surfaces to look through. Anyone else tried it, got one, or used one and has experience with a normal air fed n”

“I want to clarify; yes I am a new safety guy who is probably going to make our welders jobs more annoying but I just want them to be able to breathe when they’re 60 years old. We work in distribution pipelines, where our guys are welding 3/4”-12” mostly, in open air conditions. I’m curious how you guys feel about wearing masks in that situation? It’s one thing if you’re in a 3’ hole doing it but when I see our guys in a 10’ deep hole welding a 10” tee and they’re covered in smoke I feel like som”

“I've recently seen someone proudly posting his new enabled a60 air, and it reminded me of a question I've been having: Is there a welding mask that provides all 3 protections (eyes, breathing, and hearing) in one package, with or without a "hose-connected remote air filtration unit" like the a60 air? Preferable available at European retailers. submitted by /u/Axestorm64 [link] [comments]”

“Hello, I have been trying to have a western key fob "keychain" made like the picture provided. The round part is domed copper coin, and the clip is stainless steel (picture also provided). What I need is for the clip to be cut at the white line and then soldered on sanded etc.. and soldered on to the coin Problem is I have contacted multiple "Jewelry Repair" shops in my area and they all say they cannot help with stainless steel, or they just do gold/silver. I Jeweler respond”
