“Looking for advice on why prints are not fully sticking to bed. I read somewhere that I should buy a plate instead of using the glass plate I have. I will be buying an auto leveling kit, any advice on that would also be appreciated. Ive been using Ultimaker Cura, not sure if this is what I should be using, any recommendations? Any other tips in general would be appreciated, thanks. submitted by /u/ImUnableToCan [link] [comments]”

“This keeps happening with the first layer of my print which really wrecks the straight edges it's supposed to have on that side. I'm using a P1S printing PLA on a textured plate. I've tried cleaning the plate with hot dishsoapy water, and the plate itself is barely used so I'm pretty sure it's not wear to the plate. Could it be moisture in the filament? Thanks in advance homies submitted by /u/InvestigatorSea4789 [link] [comments]”

“A few months ago and friend of mine donated this Prusa mk2 in the box! The plate keep no stucking correctly... and it is not the Z axis, I lowered it as low as a piece of paper to hit the plate. I used with glue, it help... but it doesn't look normal. The 3rd Pic I post the bottom of a mini batarang. Any ideas? I'm out of ideas :( submitted by /u/Winter-Object6327 [link] [comments]”

“I was a big dummy, and set a model under the hotbed of an Anycubic Kobra S1. While printing, the hotbed lowered onto the obstruction, and the hotbed is now crooked. When trying to home the Z axis, the left side (sitting higher) it clicks terribly loud as it has hit the top, but the others haven’t. Is there a way to manually turn the z axis lead screws? I know that all 3 are synced. Any help would be super amazing! submitted by /u/VforVendettaboutit [link] [comments]”

“Slicer I'm using is Anycubic Slicer Next, with the Anycubic Kobra 2. Have tried Prusa Slicer but the Kobra 2 is so dogshit and picky that Anycubic's slicer is the only one I've gotten good results out of. Willing to try another though. Printing a castle turret that I modeled, need to make like ten of them. I've done a test print with the settings that made the supports in the second photo, and it came out perfect. The issue is that the supports are so unwieldy on the outside that”

“Hello everyone, here recently I’ve had issues with prints sticking to the bed. I’ve washed the plate thoroughly with hot soapy water, I’ve tried rubbing alcohol to clean, and using a glue stick to get the prints to stick. Now I find the printer like this after a very simple 1hr print. Is my issue more than just print adhesion? “Note that my plate is clean and this only happens to the black matte pla as shown with the green matte pla working fine I use the Bambu p2s and the 0.4mm nozzle They are both following the same settings and same model submitted by /u/Roblox_Tf2 [link] [comments]”

“Working with a K2 Plus with 2 PLA filaments. Printing some ttrpg terrain I threw together however I am struggling with the first (grey) 5 layers sticking to the textured plate before the (black) layers bond them together. I've tried glue on the plate Offsetting first layer height to 50% nozzle size .2 mm And a few different brim options (auto and mouse ear) - I'm avoiding fill internal brim as it would be a nightmare to clean and I need to make a ton of these. Any advice would be gratefu”

“Hey everyone, I'm struggling with getting a clean first layer on my Anycubic Kobra 3 Combo. As you can see in the pictures, my first layer always ends up looking wavy, rough, and just generally poor quality. I've already tried messing around with a few settings, including adjusting the flow rate/extrusion multiplier, but it doesn't seem to fix the core issue. Could this be a Z-offset issue (nozzle too close) causing the plastic to squish and plow into the adjacent lines? Or maybe som”

“I recently got an anycubic mono 4k and I'm facing issues. Whenever I try to print something it sticks to the vat not the build plate. Am I missing something? An help is greatly appreciated. I'm using the base anycubic software that came with it. I'm also using anycubic resin submitted by /u/A_B_Hobbitson [link] [comments]”

“Hi all, as said in the title, my print is not sticking to the plate! It doesnt seem too much of a precarious print, I've added a brim to try and help, but even that is causing issue. I have just recently bought a new 0.8mm nozzle, not sure if thats a problem? I've got a Bambu A1 Printer Using PLA+ Black from SUNLU Speed is just default: 35mm/s Initial, Outer 120mm/s, Inner 150 mm/s https://preview.redd.it/4bo20xvtw2lh1.png?width=1536&format=png&auto=webp&s=09becc8d37738d98e32”

“Hey folks, Had a Bambu A1 ive been running successfully for a couple of years but the last couple of days have been seeing this with the first few layers, resulting in it scraping off the first layer(s) and failing the print. I have tried the following Change Filament Drying out filament (using a box with holes and heatbed to 50 all day) Changing the print Printing from PC/Bambu Lab instead of app Found a suggested adjustment to the code on the profile Change the nozzle (this did seem to fix it”

“This is the second time I tried to print a collapsible sword with my Anycubic Kobra neo 2 printer but it printed weak blade. The very first time I tried it with the white filament, the spiral blade sword was strong and easily retract and extend. The other 2 is the basic black filament and did not work well, blade broke. I had this black filament stored in a small tote with other PLA filament with the bag of the moisture absorb beads. submitted by /u/Beginning-Ad-7900 [link] [co”

“I used to put liquid glue on textured plate as well as cool supertact plate but stopped after reading how most people don't use it. After that I printed some small prints that left a heck of a mess to clean so now I always use it again. No issues cleaning the plate afterwards. Any reason why this would be a bad thing? submitted by /u/unDroid [link] [comments]”

“Hi all I have 5 printers (FDM and resins) and I use orca slicer for them, two are Kobra Xs, I have to use the AnyCubic Slicer as they dont work through Orca even when using KX-Bridge as it doesnt work. The biggest annoyance is the fact the only filements you can see as default are their own. Is there anyway to bulk transfer the huge selection of filement profiles onto the AnyCubic slicer? submitted by /u/Stu__C [link] [comments]”

“I had issues were my voxelab Aquila would not stick. So I wiped the bed, set the nozzle to 215, the bed to 65, flow to 125, printing speed to 70, adjusted the z offset and added glue. Now I can’t get my prints off without breaking lol. Should I go back to default settings or ditch the glue submitted by /u/AbjectMistake5108 [link] [comments]”

“Guys, I’ve run into a problem with my Anycubic Kobra 2 Pro printer. Let’s start with the first issue: the layers either start to peel off or simply don’t have time to cool down properly — they detach from the build plate (the build plate is at 60 °C, and the nozzle is at 215 °C). I can’t print toys and figures properly. Could you tell me what the problem might be? submitted by /u/Artemkaq [link] [comments]”

“Hey! Ever since i got my kobra 2, September 2024, it has just been ok. I have to configure it alotttt, but now its really just tweaking. I have tried optimizing settings in cura, reverting to anycubic slicer, changing settings, but im still getting this really bad non sticking to plate issue. I have a new roll of esun pla. When this last happened, i tried using hairspray and it worked. Now, it doesnt fix it. Asw, i always get warped corners, scrapy lines, etc. Does anyone know what could help? I”
