“I rarely do flex. I’ll take a 8:00 - 10:00 route maybe once or twice a month. Usually 15-20 packages. I’ve never had undelivered packages. While delivering this route, the customer cancelled around 8:30 while I was driving, and I had to return the package to the station…”
“I’m curious if it’s just me but I’ve noticed that Amazon will give me a block for example 3 hours and just about all the package are do by 2 hours from the start time. Anyone else dealt with this where the package deliver by times make no sense in comparison to the block time?”
Drivers report Amazon frequently changes drop times and algorithms, disrupting their planned routes. This constant adjustment makes it difficult to find profitable deliveries and forces them to compete for limited routes.

“If my block it’s scheduled to start at 6:30 am, and the first stop it’s 37 minutes away from pickup… WHY IN THE ACTUAL F YOU GIVING ME A PACKAGE TO BE DELIVERED AT 6:30 AM AND THATS STOP NUMBER 14 WHILE EVERY OTHER PACKAGE…”
“I’ve been facing transit shipping issues as of late when working with Amazon. It’s honestly borderline infuriating. I waited about a week just to get the “ATS unavailable” issue solved. I finally sent the package on the 12th of October, and it is still apparently in transit as of the 16th of October and has not been checked into the FBA facility. It’s funny, because when I first started, I thought my main issue would be a lack of buyers, getting around ungating, or just small to even negative pr”
“That came ans went without a blip I'm curious if people are going to start dropping off the flex program it usually peaks by prime and then tails off and I could start seeing better orders . submitted by /u/Ok-Profile-1744 [link] [comments]”

“I know that it’s a two day thing as presented in the email/app but if people are still shopping on the 7th, which is today, don’t that means flex drivers will still be delivering packages ordered in prime days at least for the next two days? Just wondering cos I totally forgot it was prime day and most of my friend got surged blocks yesterday and this morning .. submitted by /u/uzzloc [link] [comments]”

“Hi there! Newbie here, I just started delivering through Amazon flex about 2 weeks ago. My standings are terrible due to factors that are out of my control. Delivery routes in the LA area are sometimes impossible to deliver on time due to traffic. Second apartments or units sometimes don't have access or the auto unlock through the app. It delays delivery for sometime. It’s definitely a great gig to make extra cash, but there is a lot of space for improvement. Support isn't exactly the g”
“With 3, 3.5, 4 and 4.5 hour blocks it states 5 orders OR 50 deliveries. What they conveniently leave out which many don't realize MULTI-STOPS count as ONE delivery. So you can have 50 stops but easily have 60+ packages. Just another shady way they get more out of drivers for less.... submitted by /u/Short_Structure_380 [link] [comments]”
“I guess I missed out on 15$ 😂. They should run these promotions more often though . Do we get then once we hit a certain number of deliveries or ? submitted by /u/No-Philosophy6342 [link] [comments]”
“Anyone noticed last week average route in florida st. Petersburg is 3.5 hours for 45 packages. This morning I went to pick up and everyone got 3.5 35 packages average. I finished in 1.5 hour. Only 21 stops. Last week it was like 40 stops and barely got enough time to do all. Maybe they are hiring more people and packages getting lost/not delivered so they lowering packages. submitted by /u/Original-Bad35 [link] [comments]”
“Why is this becoming the new norm? My last package was delivered at 3AM!!!! Now another one. Is this normal, how does a route get assigned this insanely late? Please explain submitted by /u/PossibleAssignment19 [link] [comments]”
“Does anyone know how long it takes for undelivered packages to drop off rankings if at all? At the end of a route I was notified to return packages I’d already delivered.I had submitted screen shots showing I didn’t actually have anything to return because everything was delivered but still a month later and I’ve done two submissions for reconsideration and both were denied.Im at level “at risk” already because of this(I have a few blocks with “late packages” which there was NO WAY they would ha”
“Hey everyone, I thought I’d share my experience delivering for Amazon in Italy and see how it compares with yours. My base contract was three days a week , with the days often changing between Monday and Saturday. Any additional days were paid as overtime. I also frequently worked Sundays, which came with a 50% pay premium . For the basic three-day schedule, my monthly take-home pay was around €1,300 (roughly US$1,500) with the first contractor, then around €1,150 (US$1,330) after the contract c”
“I have never once had an early morning package delivered according to my delivery instructions. I’ve lived in two different apartments in Philly and am now in LA and instructions are literally never followed. Do you guys not get the delivery instructions? submitted by /u/BackgroundReveal2949 [link] [comments]”
“I love how one minute before pickup time nobody took this garbage. At 8:01pm it disappeared .... Somebody might have taken it.but Amazon might have given up too. submitted by /u/bayrea [link] [comments]”
“I have been doing Amazon Flex for about five years in the last week. I keep getting packages are labeled for three hours on an hour and a half block. Sunday, I had a route where I was 52 minutes for the first stop and 31 minutes to the second stop. How does that make sense on an hour and a half block? I am calling the Driver support. Driver support is marked the packages as undeliverable told me to return to the station which I did and that it would not count against me. Fast-forward to today an”
“I just did my first Amazon Flex order in Ottawa today. One thing that is extremely upsetting is is my first time doing a.com order and I was being rush, rushed, rush, rush, rush, rush. Make sure to put the packages in my car as fast as possible. I had to wait like almost 5 or 10 minutes to get an employee to help me while everyone else was getting stuff. I got a quick summary for like 30 seconds click here click click do this and then I was able to leave. The initial experience was terrible. I h”
“Figured I'd give Amazon Flex a try since I haven't been able to find work in my city in nearly 2 years. I arrive 15 minutes before my shift, get my cart, scan them all, and one of the items isn't on the cart. I checked it 3 times. One of the leads checks it three times. Their boss checks it next. The item wasn't there. Their boss tells me to contact to support and have them remove it from my list, so I do. Support then tells me to check with the warehouse to find the item. I expl”
“Does anyone know what the 30 minute Amazon now deliveries are? I haven’t done flex since 2022 and I’m thinking about taking one of these routes. I’m assuming no one tips though, so idk. Are they worth it? 😂 submitted by /u/breathe_madge [link] [comments]”
“Make it make sense. I had a 4.5 hour block. I miraculously finished it in two hours. One package was supposed to be delivered 30 mins after pick up, which would be impossible to deliver on time with traffic and all. I delivered it, but late. So I got dinged even though I completed my route early? Who should I email about this? Used to use the “jeff@amazon” email, but I heard there’s better options? submitted by /u/Icy-Sprinkles-5503 [link] [comments]”
“My local (rural) warehouse has been offering only evening deliveries (5pm-8:30pm). Some routes I can get done by 7:30, other routes take up to 8:15. I'm driving a shit-ton of miles. Pay is close to $1.25 per mile for some routes. It seems like every 3rd house has a "No Trespassing!" sign or a "Beward of Dog!" sign. I'm driving into compounds in the woods or in farmland. I'm driving an unmarked car into homes with deep driveways. People often wonder wtf I'm doi”
“I just started flex a month ago and I’ve picked 5 hour routes everyday since then ($100-$130) and every time I get to the warehouse and scan a package from the route , it tells me to deliver one package only. It literally has been doing this since I started with every block. And when I pick up smaller 1-2 hour routes they always say “Finding a Route” then get cancelled. submitted by /u/Expensive_Knee8903 [link] [comments]”
“i everyone. I’ve been working as an amazon delivery driver in Bristol, UK for a month now. It’s my first proper delivery job. to clarify, i work for a sub contractor of Amazon, or DSP. Needless to say amazon is probably one of the worst to work with in terms of welfare. I am still on what they call ‘nursery routes’, where i get sent to “easier” areas with slightly less packages. We get a day rate of £137 per route, which is a set rate that doesn’t change no matter how long it takes for you to fi”
“What training do flex drivers get? I’m a DSP driver and I had to go to a training site for 2.5 days (think it’s 1.5-2 now) to learn how Amazon wants drivers to deliver packages. Also what standards are flex drivers held too? Photos, customer feedback, and how I deliver are all monitored and graded by Amazon. Doing poorly could cause some people to lose a shift or a write up if they have had low scores for a while. Are flex drivers held to those standards or not at all? Generally curious as I get”
“Hey guys. My mom is an Amazon Flex driver, and today took a batch for 3.5 hours. After an hour and half she had one last package that was an hour drive away from where she was currently, which is near her house. So she’d have to drive two hours total to get back home. She decided to make the package which was in her car, as lost. She said she may take the package back to the warehouse tomorrow and hope they will just find it and say it was lost and someone else will deliver it. Currently she jus”

“It seems like everytime I figure out drop times, or find a different combination schedule that works for me, it usually lasts for about a week or two. After that it seems like Amazon changes the algorithm and/or everyone starts doing the same thing. It's now day two and I can't even get the late evening stuff that I normally do cause people get desperate and take the 2-2.5 hour routes for pennies. I even drove near the station just in case of late surges but nope 😭 submitted by &#”
