“Bought a new spray gun / hose with quick connect fittings. Turns out i need adapters for my older model SunJoe electric pressure washer (SPX 1000 i believe) Does anyone else own this pressure washer and know exactly what adapters i need? Rather buy once and get it right the…”
“Thank you for responding. So, because of my ignorance of such things, it sounds like I wasted my money. I did purchase a Pressure Washer Adapter Set , so I guess I will be returning this to Amazon. I was also considering these for purchase. I hate wasting money, especially when…”
“I got this 2 days ago actually, the unit and hose is great, so is the foam cannon. I am not a fan of the gun, so already swapped that for a Mckillans stubby, also added some quick connects for the garden hose. Playing around with it, a couple washes, and I'm extremely pleased…”
Several detailers are expressing frustration with the AVA Go+ pressure washer, citing issues with the gun quality, compatibility of accessories, and the need for additional adapters. Some recommend alternative brands like Portland.

“Follow-up to this comment. I purchased several quick connectors and the spray nozzle kit. No regrets! I love their products and wish they made a sprinkler! Ty for the suggestion! [re: Do quick connectors always leak or am I doing something wrong? (TEXAS, USA)]”
“Just wondering is I should keep and upgrade this pressure washer, which I had for over 5yrs or replace it with an AVA60. I use a stubby gun with and don’t have any issues with it. The hose is the only thing that drives me insane. Anyway, it’s been pulsing lately when washing, but not sure if its because of the new nozzles I got on Amazon. submitted by /u/NYGiantsfan4Life [link] [comments]”
“If you have crappy hose look at the Bauer or ridgid accessory package u get much better hose and attachments [re: Soft brush attachment for shop vac?]”
“Not Norwegian manufacturer. Chinese OEM... [re: Need pressure washer How is ava go+]”
“I have the same pump. Did you not get any of the adapters in the package ? I have it set up fine with the same flexzilla hoses. 2 of them to be exact”
“As a couple of others mentioned, I use the Ava Go+. Quick connect fittings with nozzles included for everything you need around the house and a 10 year warranty.”
“I think the male threads on my quick connect are too short to engage with the o-ring on the Ava go cos the female threads are so deep”
“Did you need to use two garden hose o-rings or teflon tape? My Amazon quick connect doesn’t seem to seat all the way to the washer that comes with the Ava go+ and it’s leaking out between the threads”
“I recommend Ava Go+ to everyone. I was going to piece stuff together and modify it to be better. I just bought the Ava Go+ and ordered the short handle adapter. They are giving the adapter away for free now. It’s amazing. Best customer service, too.”
“Bought a new spray gun / hose with quick connect fittings. Turns out i need adapters for my older model SunJoe electric pressure washer (SPX 1000 i believe) Does anyone else own this pressure washer and know exactly what adapters i need? Rather buy once and get it right the first time. I can currently use the stock hose and adapt it to the new 50ft hose. But i’d rather get rid of the original garbage hose completely with the correct adapter (Black hose is the factory hose) submitted by ”
How do i get this to connect to this? Couldn’t find an adapter/coupler whatever ya call it at HD. I have this quick connect on here for my portable washing machine. Thx…
“they just sent me the older style one, the same as what i had. maybe why they were so nonchalant about sending a replacement, clearing out old stock. that said the replacement has been fine so far”
“Thank you for your response. I especially appreciate the examples. I had these delivered, but I will likely send them back and just get a sprayer that connects to the hose. My wife wants me to get a pressure washer so she can watch me clean the concrete driveway, as well as all of our neighbors' driveways.”

I was also considering these for purchase. I hate wasting money, especially when it is due to my ignorance.”
“I'm trying to do a right angle for the outlet hose like you have done here, but I don't have as much space since my active 2.3 is against the wall on that side. Would you be able to use the right angle fitting you have installed directly on the machine, then attach the male quick release to that? I also have an Adam's hose, but no hose real, so just trying to plug in directly. Awesome setup by the way. Appreciate you sharing this. https://preview.redd.it/9pb09r45mifh1.jpeg?width=1035”
This sub is weird about direct amazon links which is where I got most of it. The hose reel is a Giraffe tools brand. The first one I got leaked when the…
“Currently have an old Greenworks 1500PSI 1.2GPM with a super leaky gun and the original cables/connections. I was considering buying a new stubby gun from Harbor Freight and seeing what other upgrades I would need, but would it be better if I went straight for the Ryobi 1200PSI 1.8GPM? Not sure if I'd be seeing a huge upgrade over the Greenworks but if I'm eventually going to have to buy upgrades that the Ryobi comes with I figured might as well go for it. submitted by /u/Kur”
“I've had one for a few months and it's been great. I also got the extra beaker bundle and I can quickly swap between pre-wash, main wash, and protection like KCx s0.03. If you're looking to get up an running with a single purchase, it's ideal. It's about the same price as buying the Ryobi plus a decent hose and foam cannon. It makes less sense if you already have a hose, foam cannon, or gun you like already.”
“Alr nice! I did by the stubby attachment since that was a common consensus. When you say you added quick connects though is it not compatible out of the box or are you talking abt connecting the the stubby directly to the hose”
“I got this 2 days ago actually, the unit and hose is great, so is the foam cannon. I am not a fan of the gun, so already swapped that for a Mckillans stubby, also added some quick connects for the garden hose. Playing around with it, a couple washes, and I'm extremely pleased. If you dont want to pay for a new gun, you're still going to want the short gun adapter that costs extra, so it's kind of annoying they didn't include that. But you can get a cheap stubby gun on Amazon that”
