The vet was inexperienced with this and told us it might be either cancer or an infection, for which we have received antibiotics and pain medication. We have another appointment on friday to decide if a sample should be taken. I’m feeling horrible and wondering if any of you guys have experience with suchs lum”

“~8yr old FS Cat Indoor only. I have a cat I adopted as an adult cat about 3 years ago, I noticed just a few days ago what appears to be a small round mass/cyst on her 3rd eyelid. She hasn't been squinting or messing with the eye and im unsure how long its been there. Pretty sure its new as it wasnt noticed a few months back at her annual. Kinda freaking out. She is otherwise acting 100% normal. I did take her to the vet today and got a wide variety of opinions by 3 different vets there. None”

“Firstly: we already have a vet appointment for this Thursday (3 days from now). I noticed these bumps in my cat’s ear yesterday and I don’t know how long they have been there for unfortunately. It’s on the inside of her ear where the ear pocket is. The diameter of the main raised bump is around the size of a dime, and the bump has a bunch of little smaller bumps on it, almost like goosebumps. It’s the same color as her skin and soft. She isn’t scratching at it or shaking her head and she doesn’t”

“My cat is a 5-year-old male Selkirk Rex. For the past couple of months, he has had a small red, pimple-like bump on his gum. The bump itself has not gone away, but it will sometimes develop a small white spot in the center that looks almost like pus. The white center disappears and then comes back. I initially thought he may have injured his gum, but since this has been happening for a couple of months, I am concerned it could be something else. He otherwise seems completely normal. He is eating”

“We live in the UK and the vet has seen it and told us to come back if it has changed shape or size, we noticed this morning that it was decreasing in size but it was draining and something was coming out of it it was greyish and white In colour and had thick putty like texture. I have a photo of it but not sure if I should/how to post it; should we be concerned, should we get it tested? Can’t get through to vet right now so I figured I’d ask about it here submitted by /u/filthwastake”

“There’s a feral kitten I’ve been feeding the last couple of months. She showed up today and one side of her face is swollen. Her eye is squinted a little against it, but it’s her cheek and part of her neck that’s swollen. It was not like this yesterday. I don’t know if it’s a bee sting, or an abscess, or what. I took a video, if that helps. I just don’t know what’s wrong or what to do. submitted by /u/DakotaMB [link] [comments]”

“Hi everyone, I noticed a small, pimple-sized red spot/bump on my cat’s ear. It looks like it may be filled with blood. I carefully tried to drain it in a clean/sterile way, and some blood came out, but the bump didn’t get any smaller afterward. My cat doesn’t seem to be in obvious pain, but I’m concerned because it didn’t shrink after bleeding. I’m not sure if this could be a small hematoma, bite, cyst, infection, or something else. Has anyone seen something similar in their cat? Is this somethi”
