“Hello everyone can anyone tell me what could cause such things. I'm using the same filament (bambu classic white) 0.20 layer height The one that's clean like 0.2 mm thicker that than the damaged one but I'm pretty I should able to get clean. Any…”

“I run a Bambu p1s with ABS on the ultra fine setting. The modifications to that stock setting are an increased wall count, and the infill set to cubic instead of grid. Other than support changes, those are the only modifications. The vertical fine artifacts are more prevalent on large prints with smooth ish surfaces. Is this normal or are there settings I can change? In this print, they are the most obvious in the overhang areas (is that the cause?) submitted by /u/DistinctPriority19”
“Hello again, After previously solving a bed adhesion problem, my printers all worked for a short period. Suddenly three printers all started repeatedly ghost printing. I’ve cleaned and replace nozzles as needed, cleaned the extruder gears of any debris and verified manual extrusion works directly after. Shortly after, I tried some prints on them and each started ghost printing again. Each of their extrusion gears is grinding down the filament like I’ve seen people say, but continue to ghost prin”
“Hey guys, Please allow me to reach out for some help, because I'm a bit at lost here. I have an Alfawise U20 for years now and it has always been a trooper, except for some maintenance on the heater block a few years back. I usually print on 0.1 mm layer height, trees, adaptative settings. Nothing too fancy. Recently, she started to create a weird problem : I have slight axys shifts, for one millimeter, either on the X or the Y axys. Some times it shifts and then re-shift again later on in t”
“My prusa mk4 does this unless I print at like 50% speed and even still, this happens. Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this or how I could fix this? submitted by /u/lazylifer [link] [comments]”
“Can anyone please help me identify the cause? I am quite new to 3d printing and I am using a Bambu A1. For the past few prints I am noticing these issues like there is a slight shift in a few layers and a bit over extrusion on my prints. I would really appreciate a bit of advice on this because it's really itching my brain at this point. submitted by /u/Lucky_Abroad_5589 [link] [comments]”
“Everytime I print a flat, thick surface, I see two things happening: 1) the bottom right corner gets curly (like it started to droop) 2) halfway the lines don't mold together neatly leaving big streaks. Last time I solved both problems by reducing the top layer speed from 200 to 50, and had a very smooth finish. I now did the same speed reduction on this big piece and its back again. What is causing these two problems? Thanks a bunch Edit for more details: Bambu lap p2s Bambu lab PLA matte C”
“Hi, I wanted to speed up some of my more basic, practical prints that don’t require high-quality production, whilen I use 4 mm nozzle. The problem is that whenever the printer changes direction, it creates these artifacts. I’ve performed printer calibration on my P1P, including flow dynamics and flow rate calibration. Although the flat surfaces are now almost perfect, these turns still look bad and sometimes even have errors like the ones shown on the right in the first photo. Using bambu p1p wi”
“Is there any ways I can fix those "bubbles" ? To me they look like overextrusion at joints 4mm nozzle with 3mm layer height with scarf joint and enabled. Super quality isnt needed for that project so these will work fine, but would like to fix for future projects Thanks for the time Edit: Forgot to add those info; Printer is an ender 3 v3 SE Pla at 220C Sliced with Orcaslicer submitted by /u/Wrong_sketch [link] [comments]”
“surely this is not normal, right? The time is due to 0,04mm layer height. printer is H2D. What can I do? I updated from ver 60 to 66 but it only increased by 7g submitted by /u/DreamSufficient3940 [link] [comments]”
“I have the flashforge ad5x and 2 times in a row now even after slowing down the printing and making sure my temps were right the print has like shifted 1/4 of the way through and then corrected itself? Could it be the file? The filament is sunlu pla translucent blue. Temp is 220 for the extruder and 55 for the bed. Any ideas? Im printing between 100-150 speed. submitted by /u/VanEttNuke [link] [comments]”
“This printer is a Creality Ender Neo 3 v2 Neo Been printing for the past few weeks with no issue, and this morning when I went to heat up my PLA the extruder started making this weird noise. I made sure to take it apart and make sure which piece was making the noise. Tried checking if there was a piece of loose PLA or something in there but nothing. Any suggestions on what to do? Side Note: going to try to add the video of the sound it makes because for some reason you can add an image and a vid”
“I have a little mini 3D printer I use to make cutters mainly for my jewellery making work- however lately I’ve been seeing a persistent issue, where there are these nobbly little warty bits poking out over the sides of the print. If I try to file them down it can compromise the cutter and snap it, but leaving them there can ruin the cutter out Any idea how I can tweak it to stop? Thanks in advance! “Long story short I was printing something my filament wasn’t extruding, thought the gears got dirty nope, now I was thinking what is it!? And this Is what I saw I don’t know if its part of the machine or it’s the problem some help would be appreciated 😭 submitted by /u/Breadfruit_Ghost [link] [comments]”

“First time ever using ASA fillament for printing and it definitely is trickier than expected. So far I have slowed down the printing speed, adjusted layer thickness, and pre-heated my chamber but im not sure what to change to stop my prints/supports lolking like this. “I have a creality k1 max and ever since I replaced a stripped extruder (227 hours) Ive started getting these weird rings across my prints. They are uniform across the whole thing and idk what they are or how to fix them (the lines are also irregular with distance, spacing more as the print gets taller) submitted by /u/Spectra_ghoulette [link] [comments]”
“Hi, I tried to print a case for a project of mine, but the printer just keeps "shifting" the layers. How and why does that happen, and what can I do about it? My printer is an Anycubic Mega Zero. Thank you submitted by /u/Ferdifefe [link] [comments]”
“The first images are my issue and the last are what happened when I raised the X offset. I think the issue is a too low z offset, but I've spent a lot of time tuning it and every single time it ends up different. I am using a modified ender 3 running klipper with BTT EDDY as my sensor. I am using eddyNG but it still ends up being very inconsistent. Does anyone know how to improve the accuracy or if I'm doing something wrong? submitted by /u/Terrakiller2008 [link] [comme”
“Anyone know how to fix this first layer when printing? Its happened to every print so far tonight. Qidi Q2 Z offset is at Default 0.2 First layer speed is at 50mm Calibration was done earlier this week Bed leveling test is done before every print Filament has dried for 11 hours while at work today. “Using an Aquila x2 with crtouch running Klipper so I doubt it’s the bed leveling. Could be the z offset but still wouldn’t explain why it’s barely showing in some areas and fine in others. “Hi i have an X2D with 1800 hours printed with no issues. now i started getting these bubbles on my prints i tried drying my filament ive tried different filaments ive tried various print files they all get this issue ive tried replacing the nozzle ive tried increasing the heat nothing works the only solution so far has been to slow down the prints by a lot which i am not willing to do as a solution as it was not neccesary for the same prints in the past. i fear it might be a physical issue to th”
“Does anybody know why this is happening? This is the second time it has happened, both times in different spots and both times after a large portion of it printing just fine. I am currently printing with Bambu Lab Aero PLA and it has never happened before with regular PLA. Not sure if this information is needed but I am printing at 53% flow, 250 degrees C, and I have an Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro. submitted by /u/NapoleonicPtarmigan [link] [comments]”
“Fairly new to 3d printing using a Bambu lab p1s, the only setting I tweaked from the preset 12mm fine was inner / outer / inner and it was fine for all 8 hours of this until the bitter end. It came out so perfectly too😢 Another 3d print I had has also been having an issue where it has a lot of branching and I’m unsure why. Looking to see how I can avoid this in the future and improve submitted by /u/IncidentPhysical2591 [link] [comments]”
“Ok so i found a really cool print on the internet but it was on the smaller side. So i scale the print up to 125% extra. Now that i have printed the print it makes weird bumps on the outer wall. This should have been completely round... I have tried using claude to help me with this, but we cannot seem to find the problem. Anyone here knows whats happening? “Any clue what's going on here? I've calibrated, leveled and vibration compensated my Creator 5 Pro and I keep getting this in the front left corners of my prints. Someone suggested heat creep. This was with the door wide open and my air conditioner running right next to it. I've seen this or similar with adhesion problems but it's sticking to the board just fine. “Some prints (dragons of various sizes) are coming out fine, but when I try to print some branded fidgets for work they have been coming out terribly and looking like this example fidget in the video. I did get a few hot end temp warnings and tightened the 7 screws which made it do away. Bambu A1, PLA silk using bambu default settings/ slicer. Things I have done since this became a problem: Dried all filaments used for 6 hours, cleaned and lubed all rails, retensioned all belts, cleaned the build”
“I’m using the AD5X Flashforge and I’ve turned the print speed down to 80% and I’m still experiencing overhang drip. Should I lower the printing temp? Or perhaps adjust the angle it’s printed on? submitted by /u/Aidan_992 [link] [comments]”
“like how is that even possible? I have genuinely tried everything, and i mean it. I literally built the printer. Seems super weird. It skips at the exact same height (16.5mm) and seems to be caused by nothing. Printer doesn't crash at this height, Z Axis is not binding and doesn't sound like it's breaking when the break happens, it just decides that its time to shift. This is a CoreXY printer. all belts are tightened up to spec (100hz). Please help me! - Printer Model: DIY CoreXY Coc”
“I get these only with one of my filaments, colorFabb XT clear (PETG-based), but not with the other one (Creality CR PETG clear). It mostly happens at the start and end of a print. I tried adjusting retraction but didnt help much (maybe a bit). It doesnt look like stringing and the rest of the print looks good, its just a bit of extra material sticking out - sometimes it the nozzle catches on it and causes the print to fail. QIDI Q2, 250C, first layer at 50 mm/s, top around 130 mm/s. https://prev”
“New to 3d printing here, using a centuri carbon 2. Printed fine for 30 hours or so but now every new print has these little lines like the nozzle is skipping filling. Is this the machine or the filament? I live in a humid area and heard that it could affect filament. This is with normal elegoo PLA. submitted by /u/AtlasHasFallen76 [link] [comments]”
“I suddenly encountered an issue with wavy/tree-like pattern appearing on the curved surface of my print. Which is extremely confusing as I printed miniatures with perfect results just hours before. In fact I used FDM mini printing preset (0,06 layer for 0,2 nozzle) for this large piece. The printer is Bambu Lab A1. I used BambuStudio slicer. Material is eSUN PLA+. The piece did not come off the buildplate and wobble. And I checked the model's mesh - it does not contain anything like this pat”

“I’m having such a strange issue that I can’t seem to figure out with the AD5X. When it prints, the first couple of layers seem to be okay, but as it continues, it’ll slowly start warping/curving upwards on the edges of the print, and so the layers start getting uneven. It’s a little hard to see with the benchy, but it’s easier to see on the other project I’m doing. Some of the sides look fine, and yet the other sides are having this issue. Anybody have any thoughts? I’m printing PLA at 210. ”
“So I'm dying laughing here haha, but what would be the problem where? It's my first enclosed printer (K2 plus). The original orientation was slightly off vertical. Just enough to avoid the need for supports Is this because of the chamber temp? Should I take the top off or leave the door open? It's PETG, submitted by /u/Few-Cucumber-413 [link] [comments]”
“So my printer’s been making more spaghetti than an Italian chef, and I don’t know why. This is a resent print I just made, the supports were a disaster and caused the ring to mess up, but even ignoring that there’s gaps all over the sides which make it weak enough to crush in my hand. Does anyone more experienced than me know the likely cause? And maybe some print settings I can adjust to fix it? submitted by /u/John_Benzos [link] [comments]”
“Probably the fifth time trying printing this, already leveled the bed, cleaned, tried different z offsets, but everytime it happens again. What could be the problem? Edit: the problem is not lack of adhesion, its not coming out of the bed. Its like the nozzle itself breaks the print after a while Using a Ender 3 v2 neo and PLA silk. Using default configuration for Cura, .28 layer height and 10% infill. submitted by /u/CaduCopperhead [link] [comments]”
“As you can see my prints are sort of getting stuffed only near the front edge (closer to the door) on my P1S. Example is this picture where ironing/printing sort of stuffed up the surface but only for certain area near the front. Does anyone know why or how I can fix this? FYI, my filament (Bambu PLA Matte) is well-dried and I did do auto bed leveling before this print. Thanks in Advance. submitted by /u/Demon_69 [link] [comments]”
“Hello all, I'm fairly new to 3D printing (~3 months) and I'm hoping to get some direction on how to fix a issue I'm currently having. Recently I tried to print this following model: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2694968-infinity-prism-fidget I'm having a weird issue with the overhangs corners: Bottom of the model, white filament is Bambu Matte PLA As you can hopefully see, while one of the corners is basically perfect and smooth to the touch, the other one has a bunch of visib”
“QiDi Tech Q1 Pro, Orca slicer default profile, Elegoo PLA & Klipper with Fluidd Haven't touched my printer in a couple months, come back and print out the first prototype (left) perfectly fine, then print out another (right) and it comes out awful. Didn't touch config, model only slightly changed, PLA was sat in a dry box between prints (a couple days) after being at in a box for a couple months, so wouldn't have gotten much wetter. No idea what changed, the stringing and gaps wo”
“I’ve been printing a sphere lamp (170mm diameter, 1.6mm wall thickness), and I understand stair stepping and am not concerned about that, but each time I’m getting the same weird artifacts, and splotches. I’m using variable layer height so the top is roughly 0.08mm. I’ve tried using auto generated supports, as well as making my own support with a 0.25mm offset. I tried making the top flat as well, all of them have some sort of artifact. If anyone has found a solution to printing a smooth top to”
“This same imprint pattern has been appearing on my 3d prints, but it’s usually much more faint. I tried researching a bit online, and discovered that it may be caused by not letting the plate cool before removing a print. However, the pattern is still lightly present even after proper cooling Any ideas on what may be causing this? Both parts were printed on the bambu lab a1 with PLA. submitted by /u/Business_Oven5 [link] [comments]”
“the one sides corners and the back middle of my print is all messed up as well as the print is super rough on one side and pretty smooth on the other, have i just not levelled it properly? another question possibly related is when i do taller builds and the extruder travels over supports it slightly scrapes the supports any reason on why this would only be for taller builds and how to fix? thank you in advance submitted by /u/CommercialArt8127 [link] [comments]”

“I have ran this print 3 times now and I get this vertical seam type artifact 5 mm in only on one edge. I thought it was the Z seam, but I set slicer to random Z seam on the last print and it had no change. The Z seam absolutely did print as random as the slice displayed it that way and I can see the little dots all around the print from the random starts I thought maybe something related to cooling from a thick section to thinner section but the part is an exact mirror image left to right and th”
“I’ve done back to back gridfinity box prints, where I’m getting stringing and what appears to be overextrusion(?) only in the corners. What could be causing this? It looks like it’s happening at the seam, but I also noticed that the corner in the first picture has lifted. Has done this with two different PLA’s. Any ideas? submitted by /u/Need_For-Sleep [link] [comments]”
“This has kind of never happened before but it just doesn’t seem normal. Just looks a little too messed up, maybe there is a solution, yes I printed with a build plate I just took it off to show the print better. submitted by /u/yeremyporterr [link] [comments]”
“I'm printing this model and not sure what's happening. I tried to add another wall layer and the same problem occurs. It only appears on one side as well. I am using a snapmaker u1, sunlu high speed pla with 3dhojor petg for support interface. The third image with the partial print was the test with an extra wall loop and infill from 5% to 15%. Layer height is 0.08mm. The same thing happens at the same spot and looks almost identical. What might be causing this? Thanks in advance!”
